Re: Concealer Help

I have the same problem with under eye circles. The best concealer I have used is TheBalm's Time Balm - it provides great coverage, creamy texture, and has a natural finish, but unfortunately it's not available at all Sephora locations. I have also tried Benefit Erase Paste and that also provides good coverage but I found that it didn't go on as smoothly as Time Balm. I just started using Hourglass Hidden Corrective Concealer and it is the closest match I can find to Time Balm. It has the same creamy texture, goes on smoothly, and has a natural finish without feeling too heavy or cakey. I have also used a concealer from MAC (I can't remember the name) but I wasn't a big fan of it.

These are the products that worked for me, but I would definitely recommending trying them out at the store before committing and purchasing it.

Good luck with your search!

Re: Concealer Help

Well, the Laura Mercier Undercover Pot is the best I've used, BUT an associate at my local Sephora finally explained why nothing will get rid of my circles completely. Basically, my cheeks are full and create a ledge that makes a shadowy spot. So, to check this out, I put on the concealer and then tilted my head back so that the light was straight on my undereye area, and sure enough, no darkness. Of course, I can't walk around looking at the sky, so I'm doomed to that dark undereye look since it's a shadow basically. I do have other darkness, and using the Undercover Pot does really cut down on the dark look since it's a color corrector and concealer, and the powder keeps it in place all day.

Re: Concealer Help

I have tried a few different under eye concealers, the first being All About Eyes by Clinque which I bought in the wrong shade by accident, but I now use as a corrector because it is on the warm side. I have also used the Bobbi Brown concealer but not the corrector. I have found that both of these items disappear during the day. What I have found that has worked for me is mixing the Clinique one with the new Tarte tube concealer and applying that then apply the Tarte waterproof stick concealer over the top and it stays in place for me all day and covers my dark circles well. I hope this helps.

I have really bad dark circles! I found the best concealer to be benefits erease paste. Also if you are looking to get rid of them try vitamin k serum! I use it every night and it has made a huge difference!

Re: Concealer Help

nuthegr8,

This brightening concealer is amazing. I have used it several times and have loved the results! It's rich, honey infused formula is great for keeping the under eye hydrated and smooth. Remember to set it with a translucent powder, a great one to try is Laura Mercier's Secret Brightening Powder! I wil say that is a brightening concealer so be leary of using it any where else other than under eye. It could draw MORE attention to the spots.

Hope this helps out!
