Hi! I'm looking for a good concealer that would cover my acne scars and hyper pigmentations. Is Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer the best choice? And what shade should I get? I'm NC 30 in MAC foundation and shade E in Stila Perfecting Concealer. Thank you!

Hi Pinkishy,
I know how you feel! I have acne scars myself and I was always looking for the perfect product to cover them. Using a full cover concealer is better than using a full coverage foundation, especially if you only have a few scars. Based on your shade NC30 (you have a medium skintone with yellow undertones) I suggest the shade Color Ivory 6.

Another option that I just discovered is the Clinique Even Better Concealer. It has AMAZING coverage and a little bit instantly covers imperfections. It also has ingredients that help fade discoloration and scars while you wear it. The color buttermilk will be perfect for you skin. The other shades will be too pink or will have will have neutral undertones. Its actually more yellow based in person (online it appears a bit peach).

MAKE UP FOR EVER! During a bad breakout, this product seemed to vanish from my makeup bag and was no where in sight. I was DEVASTATED, to say the least. I haven't replaced it yet due to how expensive it is (I'm a poor college student and am using a lowsey drugstore version for the time being), but honestly NOTHING compares to this product! It truly is worth the money!

Make Up For Ever Full Cover concealer is on the top of my list for covering blemishes. Not only does it cover excellently, but it also contains an anti-infammatory ingredient to soothe and heal blemishes as they're being covered. Apply in small layers until reaching your desired coverage for a more natural look.

I love the MUFE full coverage concealer. I have tried many other concealers since I started using this one, but they all fell flat. The only other brand that I found to be comparable is the Mally concealer. It has bonus points as it contains SPF 25. It’s great for under eye circles but tends to be too dark so I mix it with my MUFE for my under eye area. It stays ALL DAY once I set it with some powder. NO CREASING!
Good Luck

Hey! I love Makeup Forever (MUFE) full cover concealer. I am not sure what shade you would be but it covers quite well. I have hyperpigmentation and acne scarring and it covers both flawlessly. Plus it doesn't feel like I have a ton of makeup on! ![]()

I wear MAC NC45 in the studio fix fluid foundation... I've found that Benefit's Boi-ing concealer 04 is a pretty good match for me. It's 1 or 2 shades lighter than my own skin tone and blends well with my foundation. I use it for blemishes and under eye circles and like it so far. I would suggest probably 02 (it depends on how you want your concealer to work). Haven't tried the MUFE concealer but their makeup is super popular. Sometimes, this stuff is just a lot of trial and error but hope that helps! Good luck.

Hey!
That's a good question. One I love and can't live without is Kat Von D's Tattoo Concealer. Okay I'm telling you, you need VERY LITTLE of this stuff to cover up a WHOLE LOT. I use it for my pimples and acne scars and it covers very well, gives a flawless finish
Now for the shades it comes in light, medium, and dark. If you're NC 30 in MAC, I think I'd go with medium but definitely try it at your local store ![]()
Hope this helps!
