I've recently just purhcased the Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer about two weeks ago and am still working with it. I wanna know if you use it as a foundation or concealer, and how you apply it so I can get more ideas and figure out what products/brushes I should use with it. I'm particularly interested in using it as a foundation, but it's a bit tricky. Let me know!
I use the urban decay naked foundation 01, i apply it with the beauty blender and I put on neutral setting powered on top! But I still noticed that in natural light my neck doesn't match my face and it's obvious I'm wearing make up due to the change in skin colour between my face and neck and the make up lines under my chin!!! HELP HELP HELP
Hello beauty gurus! I have oily skin in my Tzone area (it doesn't look oily, but makeup slides off within minutes no matter what I do), and I've been looking at the UD B6 complexion prep spray. Will this hold makeup on? Will it prevent makeup from caking up? I've read reviews and just want to be sure about it. The rest of my skin is fairly normal-- only worried about my nose and between my brows. Thanks!
I use now the Chanel perfection lumber velvet foundation hr 50, I really want to try the Marc Jacobs foundation but because I live in the Netherlands I can't try them anywhere to see which shade is good for me. So has anyone an idea of which shade from the Marc Jacobs foundation is the same as the Chanel perfection velvet hr 50? I have a medium brown skin and a yellow undertone. Can somebody help me?!
Hi there! How can I prevent my foundation from sliding? I've tried revlon, smashbox, lancome, and urban decay for primers and lancome, dior, maybelline, and clinique for foundations. I have oily skin around my nose, and even setting powder doesn't help. What can I do???
I keep hearing rumors that Kat Von D confirmed on Social Media that she is going to release a new Shade + Light Contour Palette with interchangeable "Shade + Light" colors. Does anyone know if this is true? I don't want to purchase a new palette right now if the interchangeable one will be out in the next few months! If she has in fact confirmed it, do you know when/where? Thanks in advance!!!
I have combination skin oily and normal, and wondering something with fondation. I have very light skin and doing conturing . If I add liquid fondation with beauty blender and it starts to clump up . What does that mean? Is fondation too thick ?
Is there even such a thing? Either way, what is your favorite powder highlighters? I seriously have only ever tried cream highlighters and I think I'd prefer powder. I know that Becca highlighters are always being talked about, but I just feel like I won't ever be able to justify the price.
Whenever I see how people do a natural contour with bronzer, I think how nicely it defines their facial structure and how naturally healthy it makes their skin look, the problem is that I don't know what would be a good color match in terms of bronzer for me that could also be used for just a slight contour (nothing major, just carving out cheekbones slightly) With that said: Does anyone know any good bronzer they have used that can also use for contouring? Also for light medium skin tones? If skin type is also a question of what bronzer would be good to use, I have an oily skin type.
Hi Everyone - please let me know which shade# to go with for this Becca Powder foundation - the Perfect Skin Mineral Powder. I have a skin reading of 3Y06 but I also have some red/pink on the cheeks , not an allover yellow undertone. Thanks, G
Hello, I want to purchase the tarte powder foundation but i'm a little lost on which color to get. I am a mac NC 30-35 currently, I also used bare minerals original foundation in golden medium. Thanks!
Hi I am looking for a nice blush to accent my face. I am fair skin to closer to the side of pale and have to be careful because blush can do more damage than good on my skin. I tend to look clown like. But I am on the hunt for a nice natural blush, almost to add a glow. Any suggestions for the porcelain folks like me?
I use Dior Star foundation in shade 021 Linen. What would be an ideal match for that in Georgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation? I feel like it's in between shade 3 and 3.5. Hoping somebody out there who knows more about those shades might be able to help!
I really want to try out the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation except I'm a little lost in what color I'd be. My skin is completely normal, no problems. My color IQ number is 3Y10. I wear Caramel in MUFE Ultra HD Liquid Foundation and Tahoe in Nars. Thanks for the help!
Hello! I have always used drugstore foundations but I am wanting to start exploring higher end foundations. Background: I am very fair and have a yellow undertone. My favourite drugstore foundation is the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation. I love looking matte, but I always use a powder anyways so its necessary that the foundation be a super matte finish. Also, I prefer medium-full coverage. I have three foundations mind: 1. Makeup Forever Ultra HD 2. Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation 3. Cover FX Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation what do you guys recommend?! thank you!
Hey all! I have been struggling to find a good full coverage foundation that will stay in place! Even with a primer and setting powder my foundation just doesn't set in properly, I am currently using the sephora teint infusion and the colour matches perfectly to my skin but it makes my face look cakey and comes off easily. Any ideas on what I need to fix?!
I've been using Clinique Acne Solutions, but I find it doesn't last the whole day and my skin gets very oily. I've never tried any powder foundations (I'm not sure if they'd give me the coverage I want) but I'm up to any opinions/help!!
I received a sample of MUFE Step 1 Smoothing Primer and I love the way it smoothes out my large pores and fine lines. Unfortunately, I think it is making me break out. I have combination acne-prone/sensitive skin that can get a little oily in my humid VA climate. I was wondering if any one knew of a similar product that can reduce the look of my pore? I have tried MUFE mattifying primer, BM Prime Time, Smashbox Photo Ready, and Too Faced Primed and Poreless and none of these did it for me. Thanks for your help!
I have a major issue with foundation/concealer. When I wear it- I wear too little - you can see all the marks, my skin looks the same with less redness When I wear too much- I look good from far, but at arms length you can see how cakey it is, when I smile you see wrinkles and dry patches. I went to Sephora and Mac about this, they tried the makeup on me. I seriously looked ridiculous but everyone around me said that was the right amount. I just don't get it- when I talked you could see my face lines bc of the amount they put on me. I just don't get it. The artists themselves look amazing. Mac ones in particular- always look like they are wearing no foundation or concealer and their skin is naturally that even and flawless. It looks moisturized well and no redness. But when that same person puts the makeup on me- ick. I just don't get why it looks that way on me, and how they all fail to see how horrible it looks on me.Same with coloring- the foundation is too light or too dark, yet they think it's fine. Their foundation color is perfect to the tee. The other thing is, my face has some old blemish marks, one pimple, and some redness, the usual. It doesn't have that much in terms of breakouts yet my flaws are so evident on my face - yet not on anyone elses, some have more than mine. What gives?!
i need a foundation without SPF (titanium dioxide) for photos i have tried google i have tried to looking at every foundation even the organic foundations contain SPF i am not a fan of powder/mineral foundation as i need med. to full coverage foundation without looking cakey
Hello! I want to try the new Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able foundation but I'm unsure about which shade to pick. I have very, very yellow undertones; light-medium skin. I wear Mac Prolongwear in NC25. My perfect match is a mix of sx06 and sx08 in the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. Thank you for your help!
