i was using the mac prolong foundation but it showed all my dry spots. i believe that i have combination skin because i have dry spots around my lips and nose. The rest is oily. I need a foundation that doesn't show my dry spots but that I don't get so oily. I need help ASAP!
I have a bit of a situation when it comes to finding a foundation. I have super, extremely dry skin on and around my nose and chin but my t-zone area and upper forehead, almost hairline are are not excessively oily but not dry either. My problem is i cant find a foundation that caters to both types of skin i have. My preference is something light to buildable or medium coverage and has a decent amount of yellow undertone. I'm willing to invest in something on the higher end because I'm a bit desperate -.- Any advice and or tips for my problem are a HUGE help! Thanks!!!
I'm hoping someone can help me, It seems like not matter what foundation I use it always ends up looking cakey around my nose, upper lip, and chin area after a couple of hours. I have an oily T-zone but at the same time my skin tends to peal around my nose. I've used many different primers, and have used many foundation. The one I am using right now is Marc Jacobs, and it ends up looking the same as all the other foundations I've tried. I've used brushes and a beauty blender but nothing helps. Can someone please help me? Thank you!
I have a lot of freckles, especially during the summer, and I am looking for a very sheer BB cream that will help get rid of skin redness but not cover up my freckles. I was originally told that the Tarte Amazonian Clay BB was the best, but then another person told me that it isn't sheer. What do you recommend?
I am currently using the foundation estee lauder in the color tawny and too faced born this way foundation in light beige i need some help finding the right color for me for the Marc Jacobs remarcable foundation
Recently I've noticed my foundation leaves an extreme patchy cakey finish on my face (not cute whatsoever). I feel like I've tried so many foundations & primers from Sephora and cannot find the perfect combination or foundation for that matter. The primer I've used is too faced hangover and smash box pore minimizer. I've tried bare minerals matte foundation, tarte Amazonian clay, lancome, too faced born this way. NOTHING WORKS!!! I even set my face with a translucent powder and use urban decay make up spray. I'm dry around the corners of my nose, but extremely oiley in my t-zone, especially around the corners of my mouth. If anybody can give me a recommendation on anything I'd really appreciate it!!
I received a sample of MUFE Step 1 Smoothing Primer and I love the way it smoothes out my large pores and fine lines. Unfortunately, I think it is making me break out. I have combination acne-prone/sensitive skin that can get a little oily in my humid VA climate. I was wondering if any one knew of a similar product that can reduce the look of my pore? I have tried MUFE mattifying primer, BM Prime Time, Smashbox Photo Ready, and Too Faced Primed and Poreless and none of these did it for me. Thanks for your help!
Hi, I'm looking to buy the Anastasia Beverly Hill dip brow but I don't know what colour to get since I am naturally light brown but I have dyed my hair platinum blonde but my eyebrows are still a medium brown colour. Any ideas on what colour I should opt for? Would soft brown be to dark/orangey for my hair/brow colour?
I've recently just purhcased the Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer about two weeks ago and am still working with it. I wanna know if you use it as a foundation or concealer, and how you apply it so I can get more ideas and figure out what products/brushes I should use with it. I'm particularly interested in using it as a foundation, but it's a bit tricky. Let me know!
I use the urban decay naked foundation 01, i apply it with the beauty blender and I put on neutral setting powered on top! But I still noticed that in natural light my neck doesn't match my face and it's obvious I'm wearing make up due to the change in skin colour between my face and neck and the make up lines under my chin!!! HELP HELP HELP
Hello beauty gurus! I have oily skin in my Tzone area (it doesn't look oily, but makeup slides off within minutes no matter what I do), and I've been looking at the UD B6 complexion prep spray. Will this hold makeup on? Will it prevent makeup from caking up? I've read reviews and just want to be sure about it. The rest of my skin is fairly normal-- only worried about my nose and between my brows. Thanks!
I use now the Chanel perfection lumber velvet foundation hr 50, I really want to try the Marc Jacobs foundation but because I live in the Netherlands I can't try them anywhere to see which shade is good for me. So has anyone an idea of which shade from the Marc Jacobs foundation is the same as the Chanel perfection velvet hr 50? I have a medium brown skin and a yellow undertone. Can somebody help me?!
Hi there! How can I prevent my foundation from sliding? I've tried revlon, smashbox, lancome, and urban decay for primers and lancome, dior, maybelline, and clinique for foundations. I have oily skin around my nose, and even setting powder doesn't help. What can I do???
I keep hearing rumors that Kat Von D confirmed on Social Media that she is going to release a new Shade + Light Contour Palette with interchangeable "Shade + Light" colors. Does anyone know if this is true? I don't want to purchase a new palette right now if the interchangeable one will be out in the next few months! If she has in fact confirmed it, do you know when/where? Thanks in advance!!!
I have combination skin oily and normal, and wondering something with fondation. I have very light skin and doing conturing . If I add liquid fondation with beauty blender and it starts to clump up . What does that mean? Is fondation too thick ?
Is there even such a thing? Either way, what is your favorite powder highlighters? I seriously have only ever tried cream highlighters and I think I'd prefer powder. I know that Becca highlighters are always being talked about, but I just feel like I won't ever be able to justify the price.
Whenever I see how people do a natural contour with bronzer, I think how nicely it defines their facial structure and how naturally healthy it makes their skin look, the problem is that I don't know what would be a good color match in terms of bronzer for me that could also be used for just a slight contour (nothing major, just carving out cheekbones slightly) With that said: Does anyone know any good bronzer they have used that can also use for contouring? Also for light medium skin tones? If skin type is also a question of what bronzer would be good to use, I have an oily skin type.
