blush issues

I don't like wearing blush because it never seems go on evenly on my cheeks.. it just looks like I got sunburnt or something. I'm fair skinned, normal skin, not dry or oily.. why doesn't the blush look right?

I would suggest Make Up For Ever Powder Blush in the color "Soft Pink 97" because light pink is a universally flattering color which you can find at: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P12634&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=4028

However, here are a few tips for choosing the correct shade for your skin tone:  Warm complexions look best in yellow-based blush shades like peach and terracotta.  Cool undertones are flattered by blue-based pinks and berries.  To find your perfect cheek color, go to a store that sells paint and has paint samples and pick colors that you think could work as a blush.  Hold the chips up to your face in front of a mirror in natural light and you'll see instantly what brightens your complexion versus what makes it look sallow or gray.

I hope this helps you. :smileyhappy:
