What order to apply products in..
In what order should products be applied:
Moisturizer
Sunscreen
Face Primer
Eye cream
Eye primer
Foundation
Concealer (under eye & blemish)
I dont like using primer or moisturizer with SPF and prefer to use a separate sunblock. Am confused about the order in which they should be applied..
All you makeup gurus out there, please shed some light on this.. :-)
Thank you.

With the products given, this is order I typically apply them:
Eye Cream (quite a creamy formula so it needs time to absorb without it taking off makeup)
Moisturizer (I do much more with skincare so the moisturizer is the final set to lock in in that process).
Sunscreen
Face Primer
Eye primer
Foundation
Concealer (under eye & blemish)

This is the order I apply these products in:
moisturizer
eye cream
face primer
concealer
(I don't use foundation, but if I did, I would do it here)
eye primer
eye makeup
sunscreen
If I wore foundation, I would put sunscreen on before applying the foundation. Like you I like to use separate products for moisturizer and sunscreen, because so far I have not found an SPF-containing moisturizer that I am happy with. One thing that could make things easier would be to get a foundation with SPF in it. Most tinted moisturizers and BB creams contain SPF. While I've never tried any of the BB Creams offered on Sephora, I found tinted moisturizers work great, just like foundation (back when I was using it). Hope this helps!

moisturizer
eye cream
sunblock
face primer
foundation
concealer (under eyes and blemishs) (if you are using a powder foundation, concealer goes on first)
setting powder (if you use it)
bronzer, blush, highlight, contour
eye primer (eyes can be done before or after foundation, it doesn't really matter but if you can applying dark colors on your eye i suggest doing your eyes beforehand)
eye shadow
Sorry this is way more info than you asked for but i just thougth id put it out there haha
Hope this helps ![]()

I go:
Moisturizer
Eye Cream
Sunscreen
Eyeprimer
(Then continue with eyemakeup. This way if you make a mistake you can swab it off without messing up and having to re-do your face makeup.)
Face Primer
Foundation
Concealer

Assuming your starting with a blank canvas,
1. EyeCream
2. Moisturizer
3. Sunscreen
4. Face Primer
5. Foundation
6. Eye Primer
7. Concealer
A few of the steps can be switched around though, it's just a matter of personal preference. Why didn't you include eyeshadow on the list? I would prep my skin for foundation, put the foundation on and take care of evening out my skin with concealer...and then move onto the eyes..i was assuming you weren't wearing shadow? So I guess it can be saved for last. Some people put concealer on underneath foundation, some after it..for clarification, it just depends what you are covering. So, just remember this general order: Prep the skin, cover the skin, cover the eyes, then set everything with powder if you get shiny.
