Should SPF go on before a moisturizer? Or on top of your moisturizer? What gives the best protection? I want to use a serum with SPF in it, but want to use a moisturizer to keep my skin from drying out. Please help! I dont want to lose the protection of my SPF by covering it with a moisturizer.

You should put your sun protection on after your moisturizer. The steps for skincare I follow are to cleanse, treat, tone which is optional, hydrate, and protect. I hope this helps.
