Trying to find a great foundation (and possibly illuminato r)...
[ Edited ]
I'm trying to find the perfect foundation for my skin and for the finish and coverage for which I am aiming! =] Please help.
I'm searching for a foundation that gives a natural to dewy finish and leaves my skin looking radiant. I'd prefer a low to medium coverage. (I tried NARS Sheer Glow in Stromboli but it was a little too heavy for me.) I really want it to be luminous--so if you have an illuminator that you love and you like to mix in with your foundation, please tell! I'd love to know!
The thing that's come the closest for me is L'Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in W4, but I won't be using L'Oeal Paris anymore since I found out they test on animals. The foundation itself contains really soft, subtle gold reflects that I don't even notice unless I hold the bottle up to the light and turn it slowly. It's really highlighting and beautiful, and has a lovely effect.
I have normal to dry skin, so I prefer liquid or cream foundation over powder, and liquid over cream because I'd like it to last a bit longer. I do have a couple of blemishes--a tinted moisture may not be as good, but if you're convinced, I'd love to know. =]
Thank you very much! If you're replying to this, or even if you've lasted this long reading this post, I really appreciate your time and really care to hear your input!

Maybe mix a tinted moisturizer ( I love Cargo) with an illuminator. Benefit has a few good ones. I really like Girl Meets Pearl, it is a shimmery gold. High Beam is a pretty iridescent pink. ![]()
