Switching from liquid to powder foundation?

I've been trying to find a liquid foundation that matches forever now and I can't seem to find anything!  I was using MUFE HD in 128 and it matched well but I wanted something more matte.  I tried MUFE Mat Velvet Plus... but it was all so orangey!  I loved the coverage though.  I've tried Nars Sheer Glow and Sheer Matte, hated both.  I've just about given up.

I have been eyeing the bare minerals matte foundation or that MUFE powder mat duo.  I'm worried though that I'll still need a liquid underneath them both though. What do you suggest for powder foundations?

BE Matte Mineral Foundation has good coverage.  I don't think you would need to use a liquid foundation underneath it because it is buildable.  For powder foundations, that is probably one of the best for coverage.

However, Laura Mercier has a great Powder Foundation, too.   When applied wet with a sponge it will offer more coverage than a liquid foundation. The compact comes with both a sponge and a puff.  You can find it at:

I hope this helps you. :smileyhappy:
