I won't reccomend any specifics as anything will do but for Summer I love wearing really BRIGHT blushes! Either that or really natural cream blushes. Really bright watermelon pinks, reds, corals, oranges, and peaches are my favorite. Also, I tend to reach for mattes more in the Summer because they don't emphasize pores or anything and look more natural!

Hi Monicapham,

For Summer blush, I suggest using pretty peach tones. It looks great with all skintones and can be layered for more pigment and brightness.

I think a coral or light nude blush would be perfect for summer, and they definitely go with a tan for the later summer months.

I like peachy-pink blushes and neutral colored blushes for summer.  they sometimes both mimic and enhance tans.  even nice bright pink ones look nice right over bronzers.

So far what I'm using is:  Sephora Colorful blush in Coral Crush, Sephora+Pantone Universe Prisma Color blush Apricot Sheen, Benefit Cosmetics in Sugarbomb, and BE blush in Irresistable.

Yes Summer Is Here And We All Need To Have A Theme! I Have Been Keeping Theme With The Seasons For As Long I Can Remember.
Summer- Purple , Pink , or An Alluring Bronze Color. You Ask Why?
Purple- Because It Is Different And Unusual When You Think Summer You Think Vibrant , Bold , Vivid Colors But Its Blushes You Don't Want To Look Like A Clown So Purple Is A Vibrant But Yet An Alluring Color And Wont Scare People Away
Pink- It Is Ordinary But It Depends On The Shade That Makes It Extra Ordinary. Hot Pink Is The Way To Go Always. It Is A Normal Color But It Is Vibrant And Gives A Glow. REMEMBER: The Shade Counts!!!!
Bronze- Is Like  Fall And Summer Color Why? Is Because It Gives A Beautiful Shimmer In The Sun You Get Tanned In The Sun And It Will Make You Look Like A Living Photoshop!

I don't tend to change my blush often. i find one or two I like and stick with them. I like pink blushes best. i have two I'm currently working on. Nars Orgasm which is a cult fav I think, it gets recommended lots on here and in the store. I also have a Bare Minerals blush in a slightly darker pink with much less sparkle than the Nars. That's it. If I'm feeling like a darker blush I use the BE, and softer/slightly sparkly I use the Nars. Blush isn't a super important makeup item for me. Now mascara I have tons and lip glosses I have too many all over the place. You can never have enough.
