Skincare and Makeup for an almost 30yr old
[ Edited ]

Ok I am turning 30 this year and I am still constantly in search for and trying new skin care and makeup products.

I currently use Neutrogena skincare- cleaner, toner and night/day cream

I use it because it has worked the best out of what I have tried... But I am not in love with it

I have combo skin and dark spots from picking at my face ( a habit I am trying to break)

I have used Smashbox cosmetics for about  3 years now and just like the skincare it's because I liked it the best out of what I have tried. I have olive skin ( I am half black and half white) and my main concern is covering dark spots and dark eye circles.

I NEED a new routine and any suggestions I would love to hear! I am a mother of  3 boys, one who is a newborn, so I don't have a lot of time for a lengthy routine, and I usually spend about about 45 minutes (shower to walking out the door) to get ready.

Clinique Superbalanced Makeup is a great for combination skin because it is an oil-free liquid foundation that adds moisture and subtracts oil where needed.  They have a lot of shades to choose from and you can find it at:  http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P122740&categoryId=B70

A full coverage concealer for those areas that foundation just won't cover up is Make Up For Ever's Full Cover Concealer which you can find at:  http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P151107&categoryId=B70

An excellent anti-aging moisturizer for combination skin types and / or acne-prone skin is Kinerase "Lotion" because it is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, fragrance-free and is non-irritating for even the most sensitive skin.  You can find it at:  http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P234614&categoryId=B70

It will not clog your pores or cause breakouts and I think you'll really like its light texture.

I hope this helps you.  :smileyhappy:

I'm 23 and really like Clinique.  The #2 toner is the one I like and usually you are supposed to use the dramatically different lotion, but I like the gel much better. I'd recommend Even Better Lotion.
