Need advice on a new powder....
[ Edited ]

I am a little confused by all of the different types of powder out there.  I have good skin, but was looking for something to to even out the color a little where some areas are a little redder (like the nose and sometimes the forehead), but don't want anything that looks "makeupy" or where I have to use it on the entire face.  Ideally I'd love something that had a smooth finish and looked more dewy than powdery.  Is that going to be something like a powder foundation, setting powder, finishing powder, luminizing powder, or correcting powder, or is it some totally different type of powder I haven't run into yet????

(I should have said that I use MAC Mineralize Skinfinish now and find it to makeup-y looking, so that is what I am trying to replace.  The problem with it is that I am not really in love with it, and that it likes to cling to the face--particularly noticeable above the nose and top of the forehead just below where the hairline starts--and look heavy.)

A lot of women who don't like wearing a full face foundation opt to blend a concealer only in areas where coverage is needed, such as to cover redness or to conceal a blemish.

A good product for neutralizing redness is Clinique Redness Solutions Targeted Corrector which is a smooth, creamy, oil-free concealer that glides on easily, instantly camouflaging visible redness without giving the look of wearing makeup.  You can read more about it at:

I hope this helps you. :smileyhappy:
