Making Foundation Last

I currently use Benefit's Hello Flawless for my foundation and love it. There are too many things I like about it to discontinue it but I wish it would last a little longer. It seems like by late afternoon my face doesn't have much makeup left. Any ideas?

Hi, klcg.  I completely agree with the other post that a foundation primer will help your Hello Flawless powder stay on much longer.  (I used to use Benefit's Hello Flawless and it is a fantastic powder.)  I noticed on your Beauty Profile that you have a combination skin type, so I wanted to let you know about a foundation primer that is not only designed specifically to help regulate oiliness, but is also designed to work specifically with powder products.  It is Bare Escentuals Prime Time Oil Control Foundation Primer and it is a water-based primer developed for combination-oily, sensitive, or problem-prone skin to instantly smooth the complexion prior to powder foundation application. The oil-, fragrance-, and silicone–free formula is clinically proven to control shine throughout the day, as well as to regulate oil and refine pores with minerals and natural plant extracts. The lightweight primer glides on seamlessly—leaving the skin matte, refreshed, and ready for foundation.  You can find it here:  http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P235347&categoryId=B70

There is also a formula for normal to dry skin types in case your combination skin type is to the dry side instead of oily.  If that is the case, you can find the regular formula here:  http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P182405&categoryId=B70

Hope this helps!
Have a great day!
