Lancome Effacernes WATERPROOF
Hey, Id like to know some reviews for this concealer - I hear very good and very bad things of it.
I have very dry skin around my eyes and I started to fight it using the Eye Moisture Recharge from Shiseido - I'm having very good results. Anyway, my biggest problem with the camouflage makeup is the creasing under my eyes. Is this concealer creasing resistent? And if it is, what would be my shade if I'm NC30 on mac, 120 mixed with 127 on Make Up Forever?
Please don't suggest me any other products if not the same category - now I'm JUST looking for a WATERPROOF concealer, I have many others for everyday makeup. I want something to resist into the pool.
ps: I dont like the waterproof line of Make Up For Ever

Hi isabelz,
My experience is that the Lancome effacernes is a long wearing, heavily pigmented and waterproof concealer with a much more dryer finish. While it can crease on some people (usually you just need more hydration around the eyes and a better eye cream) some people don't have any issues with creasing at all. Of course it is entirely dependent on one's own individual skintype and how the product responds to it.
Try Beige Neutral III which would be the closest to your skintone without being too pink or beige.

I'd also recommend you try the Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer in shade "Medium Golden" which is more suited to the yellow tones in your skin, but is also an amazing, non creasing long lasting concealer:

I only have good things to say about lancome effacernes...I picked this up when I was going on vacation in southeast asia (beach, hot and humid you get the idea) and I was looking for a concealer that would withstand sweating. I was using cle de peau at the time ( still my first choice for concealer! HG) which is great but not waterproof. This one did the job... I have little fine lines under my eyes and I didn't notice any creasing. I thought blending it was also a breeze. It stayed on all day long and definitely waterproof!! I read somewhere that they use this concealer in synchronized swimmers...that says a lot
hope this helps!
