Foundation for Mature Skin
I am looking for a foundation that will make my aging skin look brighter and help with sagging skin. I'm over 50 and would like to know if a more full coverage foundation would be better for this than the lighter ones. I moisturize and use a primer before applying foundation.

I have mature dry skin and live in a very low humidity climate.

I've found 2 products that make my skin look more youthful and polished, without looking overly made up.

Always use your primer of choice before application :

Hourglass makes a highly pigmented "tinted moisturizer" .. it has a lot of color so I think of it more as a foundation.  Makes my skin glow. Even being oil free, it works with my dry skin, so its formula is unique.  It's rather amazing.

And on a lower price point level I found that Smashbox has a nice foundation that lifts my look :-) I gott myself this kit for Xmas and can use all the products, even the Halo powder. I usually skip powder because it makes me look older - this doesn't. I really like the way the fuller coverage foundation sinks into my skin and looks real, not like a mask.

in both companies product lines,  I have to use the lightest color they offer.

I have fair/light skin, thin and dry due to surgical menopause a few years ago.  I'm always looking for those grail products that let me look like me , before surgery.  Hope this helps.
