Best blush for medium/tan skin

Hi ladies!  A newbie when it comes to makeup so wondering, what blush is the best for my med/tan skin?  My skin is very J.Lo, Eva Mendez-ish, and I'd like to contour my cheek bones.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!

For a medium/tan skin tone, and since you want to your cheekbones to look contoured, I think the best blush for you would be Benefit Cosmetics "Bella Bamba" (Sephora Product Page) It's a watermelon-pink blush laced with shimmering gold undertones that are perfect for a medium skin tone. This blush is designed to amplify cheekbones and creates the illusion of sculpted features for a gorgeous 3D effect. Your face will look instantly brighter with just a quick swipe of this ultra-flattering color on the cheeks. I hope this helps! :smileyhappy:

I love peachy coral blushes, deep pinks, and orangey-reds on tan tones like J.Los. Some blushes I would recommend:

Amour

Dolce Vita

Exhibit A

Taos

Torrid

Smashbox: Gingersnap, Heartbreak, Paradise, Passion and Radiance http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P218786&categoryId=B70

As for contouring, you can always try out Benefit's Hoola bronzing powder of the Make Up Forever Sculpting Kit in #3: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P230511&categoryId=B70

Good Luck!

@exoticbeauty1. Another great option is the new Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in either Amused (great pigment that will enhance your skin tone. A little goes a long way so I would start with a light application) or Doll Face (this shade would allow you to contour your cheeks looking more natural and lightly enhanced).  If neither of these work for you my second best blush is the NARS Blush in Sex Appeal or Natural Glow (these two shades on your skin tone would look absolutely GORGEOUS!). I hope these suggestions help you find your favorite blush. :smileywink:

One of the best contouring / highlighting / luminizing palettes that I’ve used is Laura Mercier’s Bonne Mine which is a palette of different easy-to-blend face colors that give your skin an immediate, healthy luminosity.  Inside, there are tabs that fan out to display instructions on how to best use the formulas to create amazing results.

The set contains:
- 0.36 oz Bronzer Veil
- 2 x 0.14 oz Cheek Veil
- 2 x 0.14 oz Glow Veil

You can find it at:  http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P267202&categoryId=B70

I hope this helps you.  :smileyhappy:
