Bare Minerals/e ssentials
Hello everyone!! I want to start using bare essentials foundation...Im not sure if it will give full coverage? since it is a loose powder. I have slightly red areas on my face(cheeks) and previous scars from blemishes, does anyone know if it will give me the full coverage I need to cover those areas? I just hear such great things about the product line and I am urging to try it and give it a shot!!! I hope you guys can help me out!

Hi there. I definitely recommend trying this foundation! It's one of our most popular foundations sold online as well as in stores and will provide the full coverage you need. When using a Kabuki brush you will get a full coverage that conceals any imperfections from redness to dark circles and scars. If you don't need that much coverage and only need to conceal some areas, try their Multi-Tasking Face:

I hope this helps you decide!
Cheers,
Tiffany

Oh looky there! There's a promo here at Sephora that will give you the same kit (plus primer!) with your $25 purchase.

The Bare Esentials bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation ($26) can have light to full coverage, depending on the brush used.

The BE Full Flawless Face Brush ($28) offers medium to full coverage.

The BE Flawless Application Face Brush ($22) offers light to medium coverage.

All three products are offered in the BE Sephora Exclusive Get Started Kit ($60) for full size. Other products included are Mineral Veil, Warmth All-Over Face Color, a deluxe sample-sized Prime Time, a DVD, an instruction booklet, and a Maximum Coverage Concealer brush (although BE does sell a concealer, th foundation also works as a foundation.

I think it will. My cheeks are red and I have acne scars as well. I ordered a sample kit (little foundation w/ little kabuki brush) on eBay for $5 and tried it out. It seemed to cover everything moderately (I've used MAC studio fix previously, so I'm comparing it to that which covered everything) indoors, but I didn't check to see how it held up outside. There are a ton of sellers on eBay selling those kits, so you could give that a try.
I haven't bought a full size yet because I don't wear makeup often and haven't decided if I want to buy from Nordstrom, Sephora, or beauty.com.

I looked for years to find something that would cover my redness. Bare Minerals is the first to do that but I also used the concealer under it.

This is the best foundation! I have acne and this covers it without making it look like im wearing a mask, which is almost impossible to achieve. This isn't a powder foundation, it's a mineral foundation, which really is two totally different things. I don't know how they do it but they manage to make those little minerals really act as an amazing foundation that makes your face look flawless. I have had so many people tell me I have beautiful skin and they have no idea it's the illusion of BE because they don't see a face full of makeup they see beautiful skin. You can build it up to have as much coverage as you would like. I personally use the full coverage face brush (I think that's what it's called) that came in the starter kit and go all over my face about three times depending on how good or bad my skin is looking that day. The concealer brush also helps apply on certain problem areas that need that extra bit of coverage. Sorry if this sounded like an infomercial but it really is a great foundation. ![]()
