BB cream for the Texas summer heat
I live in Austin, and in the summer it is always somewhere around 100 degrees if not hotter. I have normal skin with zero breakouts , but I like a little something to even it all out. I read that BB cream is good for heat because it works well with sweat. My question is, is BB cream enough on its own to substitute for a lightweight foundation for the summer. I was thinking of going with Smashbox, but I need to make sure its not too heavy. Help! I makeup in this heat is such a challenge!

Hi Dqladyface. I think BB Cream would be a great option for you. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35 gives the coverage of a light-med foundation but feels light on your skin like a tinted moisturizer. You also might want to try Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray which uses Temperature Control Technology to lower the temperature of your makeup so it won't melt away in the heat.

[ Edited ]HI
Im also currently stuck in daily 100+ heat and I use Smashbox BB cream. I couldnt be happier with it, it holds up well all day even when Im outside a lot and doesnt feel greasy or make my skin break out. The other thing I like about it is that its SPF 35 which is great for people who are fair skinned.
