Anyone use Everyday Minerals?

Has anyone ever heard of or used their cosmetics before? I'm curious about their quality even though I already placed my order.

I was just watching a video on YouTube where someone was talking about how you could get a free makeup kit from them so I decided to check it out. While its not really FREE, you can customize a 7 samples powder kit for $0.01 plus shipping, which the lowest first class shipping was $2.72 for me, making the kit a total of $2.73! Plus you can reorder the sample kits.

They are Vegan, handmade mineral cosmetics that are not tested on animals according to their Facebook. I'm not sure if I am allowed to link to other makeup sites on here but if you Google them or search Facebook they should be the first ones to come up.

I figured why not give them a try? I've been looking for stuff to kind of cover up my skin lately but I'm on a very tight budget. I figured I could swing less than $3 and treat myself a bit. I can post a review here and/or pictures once my samples come if anyone is interested.

Also how do you guys feel about mineral makeup vs non mineral makeup? I've never worn mineral makeup so this will be a first for me.

I tried their makeup a few years ago in a bid to save money.  I had a lot of trouble finding a good color match because nothing was quite golden enough.  The pictures on their website always were a little white washed, and not at all true to real life on any computer I looked on so I don't think that helped much!  I spent almost $20 on sample kits and in the end  I just decided to go back to Bare Minerals because I didn't think I was going to find as good a color match as I already had with Bare Minerals.  In the end winged butter was the closest match, but still looked a little grey.

The actual product was fine.  At the time I was using the BM original formula and there was quite a bit of itching.  with EDM, I did not experience any itching.  It also didn't look cakey and seemed to last all day.

Their brushes are really great though.  I still use them to this day and was just thinking about ordering another flat top kabuki!

I have some of their eye shadows too and they seemed fine enough, but I was always annoyed that the color I thought I was ordering based on the picture and description on the website looked so vastly different in real life.  Blushes were great quality too.

A lot of people I know really love EDM, but I'm hesitant to spend more money on sample kits.  I'd rather pay a flat fee for a small vial of every foundation color because I think maybe the way they describe their colors is not the same way I would have described them.  I feel like if I just had a little bit of every color, I could find a match.

Anyhow, good luck!  If you can find a match, they're a super deal.  Smiley Happy
