I know this isn't sold at Sephora, but this product line is makeup sooo... here goes. Has anyone tried Youngblood cosmetics? Any opinions about it? Mostly I'm wondering about their loose foundation...
when i apply foundation or any kind of makeup, once i step into sun my face turn into dark, need some suggestions, i apply sunscreen beneath my makeup, but still with in minutes, my face turn into dark. without makeup, i don't face this problem, changed many sunscreens, and many foundations, but nothing helped, wondering is there any solution for my problem?
Hello everyone, I am sort of new to the Ambient Powders game, I got my first one in Diffused Light a few weeks ago. I have been really enjoying using it in my makeup routine, so I started thinking about getting another one. I am not really considering getting the palette, because I don't have use for Radiant Light at all. I also think (but I may be wrong) that Dim Light would be too light to use it all over my face. Here is my question: which other one would be a good choice for someone with VERY fair skin with pinkish undertones and a little redness in the skin?
I'm looking for a new foundation, and after swatching a bunch of options in store I've narrowed it down to either Tarte's Amazonian Clay foundation or Bare Minerals Bareskin foundation. I like that Bare Minerals has a little higher SPF and my wallet likes the price better, but Tarte matched my skin just a little better (though the difference is probably only noticeable under bright light) and it felt a little more natural on my skin. Which one should I go for?
I desperately need to find a pink/peachy blush that does not contain bismuth oxychloride. It's so depressing, but my skin gets very irritated by this ingredient. I used to use Bobbi Brown bronzer in Antigua and loved it (definitely the most flattering color on my skin), but I can no longer use it as it contains bismuth What's even worse is the fact that virtually any blush and/or bronzer I've looked it contains this ingredient... Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated - thank you, beautiful ladies!
I have oily skin. Whenever I put foundation on I start sweating immediately and feeling very hot in my face. I use Make up Forever HD Makeup cover foundation in 115 ivory What other foundation would you recommend
I am considering going back to BE since they have a new acne foundation...has anyone used it? Thoughts? I was using UD Naked- went to a BB for summer and I'm close to being ready to go back to foundation and I'm almost out of Naked...plus I refuse to be content until I find the miracle foundation out there. I know it exists!?!
Maybe there is already an existing thread on this topic but I am torn as to which shade to choose. I know this won't "conceal" my dark circles. I want a product that will brighten my undereye but won't take too long for when I am in a hurry. I love my Bobbi Brown Corrector/Concealer and I live by them but when I am in a hurry, I need something quick. For reference, my skin shades are: - Nars Sheer Glow - Fiji - Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick 3.5 Warm Beige
Hello all, I am looking into the Make Up Forever Mat velvet foundation, I am quite fair oily/acne prone skin, so I would like to try this foundation. I believe my undertone would be considered cool (blue veins on wrist) I have tried Estee Lauder Double Wear in 1N1 and feel that it is kind of dark for me, and I feel the foundation is just not working as much as I would like it to be as far as oiliness as the day goes on. I was thinking of trying #15 Alabaster or #25 Warm Ivory, I am some distance from a Sephora store so testing it out isn't really a option. I was also curious what everyone thinks of the Make up forever setting powder or what would be a good option with Mat Velvet. Thank you all so much!
Shall I continue using my Laura Mercier smooth finish powder foundation over my liquid foundation or set it with a translucent instead? Im heading to Sephora in a few days and I figured I would ask here to figure out ahead of time. SO IF its better to stick with the "pigmented" powder, which is a better/cheaper alternative for LM. If translucent is better, which should I get?
I recently stopped tanning due to dry skin and the formation of wrinkles at age 23. Not worth it if you ask me. I seriously need advice on how to be pretty pale. Im not used to it at all i dont know what colors work or clash. powder or liquid, lip stick. i need help with the whole nine yards. any advice will work. thanks so much!!
I want to get the new YSL Fusion Ink foundation but I don't know what shade to get since there are no descriptions of what the color is like. Some foundations that match my skin tone and that I've used are: Giorgio Armani shade 4.75, Smashbox Halo shade #3, Cover FX mineral powder shade # G30. What shade would I get in the YSL Fusion Ink? I would say my skin tone is light medium with yellow undertones.
a friend of mine told me that your face powder should always be one shade lighter than your foundation... is this true? does ones powder necessarily have to be the same shade as their foundation or does it just go by what works for you?
I am 4Y07 with Sephora Color IQ and I currently wear 3W1 Tawny in ELDW. I feel this shade is a bit too light for me, what shade would be one step warmer/darker in color? And I'm thinking about trying the EL DW Light, what shade would be appropriate? Thank you.
How do you choose between a matte and more of a dewy look? Does it depend on age? Do younger people want more matte while older people need more dewy? I have really dry skin, with some really fine wrinkles around the eye and large pores near my nose, and I cant choose between a matte or glossy :/ I tried Laura Mercier but it felt like halloween makeup The tarte one glides on really well but I am not sure if matte is right for me?
Hey, so being EXTREMELY pale, as in, NOTHING matches me, apart from Nars Chantilly concealer, is there any brand/color that matches that color in a powder foundation form? I'm just getting so frustrated with nothing ever matching, and I don't want to go around wearing concealer as foundation lol. Please help?? My skin is combo, but it doesn't matter if the product is more drying, as I can work around that.
My eyes are more on the green side. (They change colors). I'll post a picture so that you'll get a general idea of what makeup would go great with my color eyes. Thanks!! Also*** if you have any other tips that you could share, I'm totally open-minded to that.
