I'm having a hard time getting color matched my color iq is 4y09 and I purchased the new Marc Jacobs foundation they gave me shade 36 I feel it's too light my mac foundation color is nc37. Any recommendations on what Marc Jacobs color I should get
I am currently using two different foundations (not two different shades, two brands) because my skin can be so different depending on which part of my face we're talking about. Do you think you could help me? Here's what I need (and I'm not worried about shade - I'm quite fair, so I tend to choose light and just use a light bronzer to add some colour). Chin - Prone to breakouts, blackheads (oily) Nose - Prone to occasional breakouts, but corners are dry and flaky Cheeks and Forehead - Normal Under Eyes - Fine lines, puffiness Also, my skintone is super uneven. Between freckles, redness around my jawline, and fair skin, I am all over the map! Because of this I like full coverage. Although I have to be careful of moisture in foundation, due to the breakouts, I find a dewey or "radiant" look looks much better than a matte look for me (I'm 35 by the way). So, do you think of a product that can take care of all that? Thanks! Sonia
I have a lot of freckles and I want them completely gone. Normaly I use Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Foundation, but that has SPF 15 in it, and in some lights that makes your face look very bad. Does someone know if this Foundation from Kat von D realy gives you as much coverage as the estee lauder? And would you recommend the concealer also? I have a yellow undertone, but the concealer only comes in pink or beige. (I have a light skintone). I'm from holland. It's a shame that they don't sell this here
I've always used Clinique makeup and am currently using the Perfectly Real foundation, which is fine. I'm just wondering if there's something better out there. Is the Clinique Even Better really better? I've heard good things about Urban Decay foundation, but I'm not sure which shade I would need.
I don't get to visit the store often cause I live in a small town, so I shop online. I want to buy a foundation that is the same as maybelline fit me golden beige. I like to use a powder foundation that would give me medium coverage. I have few blemishes. I was matched to coverfx mineral foundation in G+50. But I also think G+40 may work. I am confused how to go about buying the foundation. Please help.
I'm oversees and do not have access to test MAKE UP FOR EVER products. I've been using the Microfinish powder as a finishing powder, but I'd like to try a finishing powder with some coverage as well. I currently use their HD Foundation in the shade 127. I would like to know what my corresponding shade is in the MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Finish Multi Use Powder Foundation.
I've been meaning to get Color IQ'ed, but haven't had the time/chance to do so yet. In the meantime, does anybody know what Color ID Chanel's Perfection Lumiere Velvet in Beige Rose 22 belongs to? Also, what other foundations would you recommend for this shade? (My skin type is combination) Thanks!
Hi, I am looking to make a match to Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Foundation. My color IQ is 2R07. Thank you! I know this foundation can run light and I would rather go a little darker than too light. Thanks!
I received a sample of MUFE Step 1 Smoothing Primer and I love the way it smoothes out my large pores and fine lines. Unfortunately, I think it is making me break out. I have combination acne-prone/sensitive skin that can get a little oily in my humid VA climate. I was wondering if any one knew of a similar product that can reduce the look of my pore? I have tried MUFE mattifying primer, BM Prime Time, Smashbox Photo Ready, and Too Faced Primed and Poreless and none of these did it for me. Thanks for your help!
Need advice! About to purchase online! YSL Fusion Ink color Almond N30 is my current foundation, it's a really good match to my skin tone, I can even use darker shades to contour, bronze, hilite etc on top of the N30 color & still be good(Not too dark/orangey) So I thought I might try the next color/tone up which is Sand N40, but not sure whether to go with N35 Cool Almond or Warm/Cool/Neutral Sand? Feel like I'm nearly perfect matching with N30 Almond, should I take the risk of a wrong too dark colormatch by getting the Sand N40 or Cool Almond N35? Is there really that much of a difference between these shades for me to go too dark? I fear the cakey-orange look! Lol Please help! Thx!! **Sometimes I combine with or use separately the Georgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation in shade 5.5 It's a tad bit darker but works well as a contour or a bronze/tan look on me )
Does anyone know if the Clinique CC Cream in the compact is the same as in the tube? I was wondering if the CC in the compact would be "drier" when applied vs. the original (tube)? I have a sample of the CC in a tube & I like it on 1st impression & was curious about the compact. If the compact is the same (or better, lol) that would be awesome b/c I am lazy (: ! Also, do any of you know if the shade light (02, in the tube) is the same in the compact? Thanks in Advance! Irish xo
I have been trying different shades of Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation, but so far has not found the right match for my skin tone. the rep at store gave me 7.5, I have tried it and it gave me an orange tint. I ordered 6 and it gives me an olive tan shade. I have been using kat von d medium 57 shade. I think my skin has a yellow under tone. will appreciate some suggestions.
I used to use Urban Decay Surreal Skin Mineral Powder Foundation in Hallucination [color]. I am desperately trying to find this color. I am lost in a whirlwind of light to medium, medium cool, medium warm, medium neutral, medium tan. I have no idea where to begin in choosing either a foundation/contour palette/bb cream/cc cream/Concealer/highlighter color. I am interested in knowing any brand any type of face makeup that is the same color. Pleeeease help me I have spent hours upon hours trying to figure it out.
I am wanting to change from using MAC pro long wear NW20 to Nars all day weightless luminous foundation and Nars radiant cream concealer. Which colors in the foundation and concealer are similar to NW20?
