I have extremely oily skin and I'm trying to find a foundation that will keep me matte without looking caky and heavy on my face. The Clinique Stay Matte Oil-Free foundation, BECCA Ever-Matte Shine Proof Foundation, Tarte Double Duty Beauty Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation,Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation, TESTS LAUDER Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup, and Clinique Superbalanced Silk Makeup sound like they could be good options but I was hoping to get an idea of which is closer to what I'm looking for.
Hi guys! I got Color IQ matched to Y101 a few months ago and I picked out MUFE HD Foundation in shade Y205 (Alabaster). It's a perfect match! I am looking to try some new foundations. I already own KVD in the wrong shade and I like the full coverage, so I want to try it in a shade that works for me. I also want to try the Urban Decay Naked Foundation. What colors would you suggest in those foundations that are a Color IQ match for Y101? Thanks!
Aloha! I'm looking for a tinted moisturizer WITHOUT a sunscreen in it. Any and all physical and mineral sunscreens seem to break me out in awful, painful cystic acne. Chemical sunscreen, on the other hand, plays well with my skin. I have my own SPF50 sunscreen that I use for sun protection. Any reccs? I'm about an NC 20ish, golden undertones, light skin. Thanks in advance!
Hi fellow beauty lovers! I am looking for a new bronzer for the summer time! I already own benefit by hoola which i love and is my current go to bronzer but I am just looking for something new for the summer! I own Laguna by Nars but feel like I may be allergic to some of the ingredients in it so i am staying clear of it. I also own chocolate by too faced and enjoy using that too sometimes but would like something different. I would prefer something powder rather than liquid as I have oily skin with acne scars/mild blemishes and have been told by my dermatologist to stay away from liquid products. Anything labeled non-comedogenic would be a major plus as well! Basically just looking for a powder bronzer for safe for oily skin! Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much! P.S My skin tone/current foundation color is Clearly Pearl in bareMinerals Blemish Remedy Foundation. http://www.sephora.com/bareminerals-blemish-ready- foundation-P388677?skuId=1703016&icid2=D%3Dc6%3Apr ...
I have such complicated needs for my foundation. My skin is EXTREMELY oily nearly all over my face, mostly my t-zone. However, around my nostrils, my chin, my lips, and even right below my cheekbones on occasion, I break out in dry patches especially during winter. I was using the Lancome 24 hour foundation, but I found it would just cling to my dry patches and I think it dried them more. Foundations always seem to get so cakey on me, even when I apply a minimal amount, and they break down on my skin. I love a full coverage foundation, I don't have any bad skin issues other than the occasional pimple and some large pores on my cheeks and nose, but I really really like a fully covered flawless face, as if I have an insta filter on.Even a medium but build able foundation can work for me. I am so sick of the holy grail foundation search, please any suggestions
Hi! I wear Tahoe in Nars All Day Luminous foundation and wanted to try out the Makeup Forever HD Foundation Stick but I wasn't sure what color would be the closest match. I'm a 3y10 in ColorIQ, if that helps.
i was using the mac prolong foundation but it showed all my dry spots. i believe that i have combination skin because i have dry spots around my lips and nose. The rest is oily. I need a foundation that doesn't show my dry spots but that I don't get so oily. I need help ASAP!
I have a bit of a situation when it comes to finding a foundation. I have super, extremely dry skin on and around my nose and chin but my t-zone area and upper forehead, almost hairline are are not excessively oily but not dry either. My problem is i cant find a foundation that caters to both types of skin i have. My preference is something light to buildable or medium coverage and has a decent amount of yellow undertone. I'm willing to invest in something on the higher end because I'm a bit desperate -.- Any advice and or tips for my problem are a HUGE help! Thanks!!!
I'm hoping someone can help me, It seems like not matter what foundation I use it always ends up looking cakey around my nose, upper lip, and chin area after a couple of hours. I have an oily T-zone but at the same time my skin tends to peal around my nose. I've used many different primers, and have used many foundation. The one I am using right now is Marc Jacobs, and it ends up looking the same as all the other foundations I've tried. I've used brushes and a beauty blender but nothing helps. Can someone please help me? Thank you!
I have a lot of freckles, especially during the summer, and I am looking for a very sheer BB cream that will help get rid of skin redness but not cover up my freckles. I was originally told that the Tarte Amazonian Clay BB was the best, but then another person told me that it isn't sheer. What do you recommend?
I am currently using the foundation estee lauder in the color tawny and too faced born this way foundation in light beige i need some help finding the right color for me for the Marc Jacobs remarcable foundation
Hi, I'm looking to buy the Anastasia Beverly Hill dip brow but I don't know what colour to get since I am naturally light brown but I have dyed my hair platinum blonde but my eyebrows are still a medium brown colour. Any ideas on what colour I should opt for? Would soft brown be to dark/orangey for my hair/brow colour?
Recently I've noticed my foundation leaves an extreme patchy cakey finish on my face (not cute whatsoever). I feel like I've tried so many foundations & primers from Sephora and cannot find the perfect combination or foundation for that matter. The primer I've used is too faced hangover and smash box pore minimizer. I've tried bare minerals matte foundation, tarte Amazonian clay, lancome, too faced born this way. NOTHING WORKS!!! I even set my face with a translucent powder and use urban decay make up spray. I'm dry around the corners of my nose, but extremely oiley in my t-zone, especially around the corners of my mouth. If anybody can give me a recommendation on anything I'd really appreciate it!!
I've recently just purhcased the Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer about two weeks ago and am still working with it. I wanna know if you use it as a foundation or concealer, and how you apply it so I can get more ideas and figure out what products/brushes I should use with it. I'm particularly interested in using it as a foundation, but it's a bit tricky. Let me know!
I use the urban decay naked foundation 01, i apply it with the beauty blender and I put on neutral setting powered on top! But I still noticed that in natural light my neck doesn't match my face and it's obvious I'm wearing make up due to the change in skin colour between my face and neck and the make up lines under my chin!!! HELP HELP HELP
Hello beauty gurus! I have oily skin in my Tzone area (it doesn't look oily, but makeup slides off within minutes no matter what I do), and I've been looking at the UD B6 complexion prep spray. Will this hold makeup on? Will it prevent makeup from caking up? I've read reviews and just want to be sure about it. The rest of my skin is fairly normal-- only worried about my nose and between my brows. Thanks!
I use now the Chanel perfection lumber velvet foundation hr 50, I really want to try the Marc Jacobs foundation but because I live in the Netherlands I can't try them anywhere to see which shade is good for me. So has anyone an idea of which shade from the Marc Jacobs foundation is the same as the Chanel perfection velvet hr 50? I have a medium brown skin and a yellow undertone. Can somebody help me?!
Hi there! How can I prevent my foundation from sliding? I've tried revlon, smashbox, lancome, and urban decay for primers and lancome, dior, maybelline, and clinique for foundations. I have oily skin around my nose, and even setting powder doesn't help. What can I do???
