Best creaseless concealer?!?
Hey everyone!  I'm on the hunt for a new concealer.. I only need it like maybe like once or twice a week if my under eye area is dark.(either from lack of sleep or crazy hormones, LOL!) So I don't use it every day, but I do like to have it on hand. I am almost out of the Josie Maran Argan creamy concealer crayon and I did like it, but whenever I apply it, it creases in my under eye area and looks terrible!    I did get a sample of the Amazing Cosmetics concealer and I LOVE it. Although it's a little too expensive for my personal liking even though it is amazing. (Hehe)   So I'm looking for something a bit cheaper and that is so close (say dupe?) To the Amazing Cosmetics concealer.  Any suggestions??  Thanks a million!

Foundation: UD Naked Skin v. NARS Sheer Glow
Hi all, I'm hoping for some of your pro's and con's for both foundations. I've purchased NARS Sheer Glow before and really loved it - it was pretty close to a perfect formula for me! I haven't owned Urban Decay's Naked Skin foundation but have used on multiple occasions and am interested in trying it out.  Is there a large gap in quality or wear? Which do you prefer and why?   They are pretty close in price (Naked retails for $39 and Sheer Glow for $45) but at times that slight difference can seem like a lot to a college student.    Thanks!

Any suggestions for foundations suitable for sensitive skin?
I don't have acne, but my skin easily breaks out with new products or products that are too harsh. I prefer medium to light coverage and something that doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I would characterize my skin as combination.

Looking For New Foundation!!
Hi,   I have been having a hard time finding a foundation and concealer that really fits me. I would like one that leaves my face matte but does not make face look "caked" or dry. I have also been having trouble with foundations leaving my face looking oily. Right now I use a smashbox primer, NARS powder foundation, and sephora concealer. I love my primer its great. I feel like my foundation, for as expensive as it is, could be A LOT better. It leaves my face looking a few shades lighter, it also is supposed to be 12 hour wear but after a few hours my face looks suuuppeerrrr oily. My concealer is okay, I bought it because I tried a sephora brand contouring stick and LOVED it so I figured why not?! right. So I guess I would just like suggestions of other brands maybe that are full coverage and actually mean FULL coverage without making me looked caked or oily. Also suggestions on how to apply the foundation would be great!! I just want to know what everyone else is using to look flawless!! haha

Hourglass Ambient vs Becca Perfector?
Hello all! So lately I've become obsessed with getting a good deal on a Becca Perfector. I missed out on the mini promo and almost scored a great deal on one on HSN before it was sold out.   I normally shy away from powder highlighters, as I've had a few that look cakey/too glittery. I have pretty decent skin, so I just wear a pore primer and some bb or cc cream. I am waiting for the triple points in a few days to make a purchase, and I have heard great things about the Ambient Lighting Powder (which also has a mini version!) So my question is, does anyone have both, and which do you prefer? Or why did you go with one instead of the other?

Born This Way Foundation for Oily Skin
I had been meaning to try the new Too Faced Born this Way Foundation but all the reviews I have read and seen on youtube are from people with dry skin and I have oily skin.   What are your experiences with this foundation and oily skin??   Please let me know! I havent had a chance to stop by sephora for a sample but I will one of these days.

Color Match
I currently wear Make Up For Ever HD foundation in the shade N178 and I am looking to purchase the Kat Von D Lock It Foundation. Unfortunately, I live in a small town and we do not currently have a sephora here that I can just go into and match my color and it is really hard to match the colors via photos. Is there anyway that you all can tell me my perfect shade? Every time I think I found it, I look at a YouTube video and it throws me off the trail lol. Online, D71 looks correct but in one video it looks too like and online D74 looks a little too dark. I would also like to make a disclaimer that I do not have any pink or yellow undertones.

Hi MzAlexus,   I think the best match for you in Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Foundation would be the shade Deep 71. :)   see post
Oily skin, liquid foundation
I have fairly oily skin, I don't have much acne, my skin is fairly clear I just get a very oily face and find my face looking greasy after the day is over. I use the Urban Decay Naked Skinliquid foundation and find it very poor for my skin type. What would you recommend for my skin type?

Clinique CC Cream or Tarte Face Powder causing itching?
I have been using the combination of Clinique's CC Cream and Tarte's Amazonian Clay Powder for about a year and a half now. One the biggest issues I have found with my face makeup is that one I get hot, or start to sweat, my face starts to itch HORRIBLY. I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience with either or both of these products? I am very happy with their performance otherwise and am looking to switch to something that wont itch to distraction every time I put it on. I live in Florida, so it is hot and humid more often than not.

In search of Primer and Foundation for dry skin.
Hey there! I have fairly dry skin and I am in search of a primer and foundation that works well together. I currently use Urban Decay Naked Skin, and I am looking for something a little different, I would like a little more coverage but nothing that will make me look too cakey. I went to Sephora last night and got recommended the Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation, and the Too Faced Hangover X Primer and it just didn't work for me, I found them to be way too thick and not very complimenting on my dry skin. Another thing is I am very pale and have lots of freckles and sometimes get redness throughout the day. If anyone would be able to help me please any suggestions are appreciated.

Foundation matches my face, but too dark for my neck, help!
How do you all blend your foundation into your lighter neck? Mine is MAC Pro Longwear in NW 20 and it's hard to cover the neck with because of its longwear consistency. I tried the shade lighter and looked like a ghost. But I don't love the foundation line- so 8th grade!  I have a bronzer I brush onto my neck, but isn't pigmented enough to do the trick. What are your tricks, HG bronzers, etc for this prob?

Hourglass Create Your Own Palette Coming to Sephora?
I was at Sephora yesterday and asked an SA if she’d heard when the Hourglass Holiday Ultimate Ambient Lighting Palette would be released. Unsurprisingly, she didn’t know a release month. She did inform me that Hourglass has mini pans in the works – like what the flagship store has to create your own palette. She didn’t know if it would be limited to the ambient lighting powders or if you could mix and match powder, blush, and bronzer. Has anyone else heard about this?

What's your liquid/BB/CC/powder foundation shades?: 2Y07 edition :)
Despite the Color IQ, which has helped tremendously, I (and many others) still find it slightly difficult to really get a good color selection sometimes. The Color IQ probably doesn't take into account the fact that some of us are in between foundation shades nor the fact that foundations simply oxidize sometimes.   I thought I'd make a list of foundations and powders that I have used and sampled that have matched me fairly well. I'll continue to update this list alphabetically if you, BTers, who have the same skin tone as I do come up with more shades from other lines, because I can only try and use so many foundations (and some brands are just difficult to access.)   In MAC terms, I'm between NC25-NC30 . I am considering shelling out the dough for this foundation.  I tried it in the store and got a nice color match and the light coverage I was looking for.  However, I would love to hear what anyone has to say about it - pro or con - because as we all know, foundation is tricky and I would be very reluctant to use, then return, something so expensive.

Cleaning Brushes
I use a spray brush cleanser on my brushes once a week. I have noticed that I need to clean my foundation and concealer brushes more frequently for optimal use. Should I be cleaning all my brushes everyday? I've heard of some people using oils and conditioners and was thinking of just leaving my bushes in a container filled with a mixture of water and shampoo after application while I am at work then removing them when I get home and spritzing them with hair oil (maybe once a week) then air drying them till morning. Is this a good idea? I would still clean them with the brush cleanser once a week. Do you think hair oil should be lightly spritzed after each shampoo/water soak?
