My skin is very oily and I am trying to find a foundation that works really well for my skin and I recently purchased BECCA foundation from Sephora but now I just want to find a drugstore makeup for now and I don't know what to get. Any recommendations?
Hi there, I need suggestions on liquid & powder foundations that have a matte finish, that are best for oily skin and don't cause breakouts. More about my skin: I have yellow undertones, dark circles underneath my eyes (not extremely dark), I also have a few blemishes on my skin, & throughout the day I mainly get oily on my tzone. So far I have tried Tarte (not a fan of the powder) and Kat Von Ds Lock it liquid foundations, which so far I like but I like to try new things. I don't use primer, I have tried the Benefit flawless, and the smashbox primer which I didn't like. I felt like it made my skin more oily. So if you have suggestions on primers or concealer for my dark circles that'd be great !!
Hi BT Buddies!! Here is my dilemma--I have used Jane Iredales pressed and loose minerals, I like both, but the pressed just doesnt give me enough covereage. I want a pressed foundation that gives medium/buildable coverage. I haven't tried BM Ready yet, but I did use the loose in Fairly Light. I recently tried the IT Cosmetics one and like it but it was too yellow so back it went. I need a fair with COOL undertones--no yellow. I have combination skin, tends to get oily T zone... I welcome any suggestions! Thanks in advance!
Need advice on picking a full coverage foundation that won't look cakey...i do have some skin imperfections but for the most part it's pretty clear, combination skin oily/dry...Don't want to look like I layered it on...I've used MUFE Matte Velvet and I've tried MAC products...
Hi! I had a question about these two powder foundations. I have PCOS, so I have EXTREMELYYYY oily skin, large pores, and acne/acne scarring. I don't like wearing liquid foundations, and I've heard good reviews on these two products, but mostly the MUFE Duo Mat, as it had more reviews. Which one of these two products would be better for my oily skin? I currently use the Mac Studio Fix powder plus foundation, and it makes me oily within half an hour, I hate it!
Hello! I am currently using BareMinerals Original Foundation in fairly medium. I want to try a Make Up For Ever powder or liquid foundation. Also, I have pink undertones- cool skin tone, oily skin. Which shade would I be? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi There - I'm currently using the estee lauder double wear foundation in Ecru 1n2, however I realize now its too light for my skin tone. I did the color IQ in sephora back in January and was matched to 1Y07, and i found that the estee lauder match to that code was Fresco 2C3. Just by looking at the Fresco shade i know it might be too pink for my skin tone. I am definitely neutral even though I find the veins in my wrists quite blue. My face has some pink undertone but id like to match my foundation to my neck and it is definitely more neutral and not pink. Looking for suggestions on what shades you might think would work for me? I understand the "7" is a medium shade. I was looking at the desert beige 2n1, or the dawn beige 2w1 or the rattan 2w2. thank you!!
I dont wear foundation at all but hâve to for my job. I would like oné that doesnt make my face feel heavy . I also hâve oily skin and wouldnt like oné That builds up the oil on my skin , and where i could still look good wearing my eye-liner and mascara.
Hello! My name is Amanda, and I needed a little advice on foundation. Since I have acne prone sensative skin I normally do not wear liquid foundation. I usually wear a Maybelline powder as the main base on my face. I previously used Revlon's foundations and they broke me out like crazy! Now, I am interested in Bareminerals new liquid foundation. I'm hoping that since it's my Bareminerals, it will be gentle on the face. Has anyone had any bad experinces with breaking out from this? Or any recommendations on foundations that haven't caused acne in general? Thanks!!
I currently wear Bare Minerals original in fairly medium. I want to try Too Faced new foundation powder the one infused with the cocoa powder. I love everything they make with it... Bronzers, eyeshadow palette. Anyway, what color would most match my bare minerals color??
So, for years I've been chasing that youthful glow, but now given the stellar contouring and highlighting products out there, I think I'd like to try some matte finishes with them. You know, velvety. Any recommendations on what to try? Oh…adding…my skin runs a bit dry and is fair with some freckles. Generous coverage would be a plus.
So tomorrow, I was going to buy Lingerie de Peau & try the Meteorite in stores to see if I like them enough to buy them. BUT, I think I took for granted that because this is such a high end product, it did not contain talc. But it does! I am shocked. I'm not paying 60+$ for some pretty pearls made of talc. Is this just me or what? I never had problem with talk, and I wouldn't mind it too much if it was a 25$ powder, but for the price I'm paying, it better be talc free. Is is just me or if sometimes, luxury brands are a little behind in terms of ingredients and all? What are your thoughts?
Can Anyone tell me what is the difference between these Estee Lauder Daywear BB Cream and Estee Lauder Clear Diference BB cream.I know none of these is currently available at Sephora, but if anyone has tried them both or knows the difference?
Mac is launching this in August. By the way, if anyone wants to look like Marge Simpson, just apply some turmeric spice as a mask onto your face. That stuff won't come off for a while lol I made that mistake.
i would like to change my foundation brand from number 7 , i was wondering if someone could tell me what is the colour name for calico or one that is the same colour as i am finding it hard to find the right color for me ? - thanks in advance
About two years ago I received the Too Faced Love sweet love set as a gift. There was a blush in the palette called pink caramel. Well needless to say I fell in LOVE with it and finally finished it up. Can anyone please recommend something similar to this. Thanks.
I absolutely love the foundation but the lady I bought it from suggested a beauty blender and I don't really like beauty blenders so I've been looking for another option. What is the cheapest and best brush to use with the bareskin foundation?
Long time ago I purchased a bulletproof eyebrow kit by Too Faced, at first it worked excellent. It glided on well when I put it on but lately its been so dry that I had to buy a different type of eyebrow dip. Now, I really love this bulletproof eyebrow kit, do you guys have any idea how I can make it become moist like when I first got it?? So I dont throw out $30 in the trash... it would suck for me. Thanks.
I have oily skin, and also an extremely yellow skin tone. I tried MUFE Mat velvet+ in#40, and it was still too pink toned for me.. What foundations would work for me? Thank you much in advance. Mostly I need great foundations in yellow skin tone...
I've been fairly lucky in finding HQ brushes in my go-to blushes. They've held up nice, don't shed and blend nicely. But I just bought a CHANEL blush recently and the brush is GARBAGE and now I'm looking for a good brush. I only use powder blushes, but could use a recommendation of something I could find at either Sephora or at a department store - I'm not interested in ordering online from Japan or Korea or something along those lines. Whaddaya got ladies and gents?
Aloha ^.^ i just move to the mainlands and cant seem to find my color at this sephora location. One of the color consultants said they just dont carry my shade since its not populer. Which made feel kinda akward is my color just that different?
