Hey guys, so i am having trouble finding the name of the brand that makes eye shadow that i was trying to buy like two years ago and maybe someone can help me. Here is what I remember: 1. They were not an American brand, maybe Swiss or German? 2. They had palates and individual shadows but they were RECTANGULAR in shape, and according to peoples reviews you get a lot of grams. 3. They were not cheap, I think they wanted like 5 dollars per shadow so a palate would have been around 60/70 dollars plush shipping from Europe. 4. They used to be popular on YouTube before: color pop and coaster sense and morphe, and they had a unique name I think starting with a V or a Z (not Viseart) Anyone know?
My usual primer hasn't been working very well lately so I tried a sample of the NARS and love it! It seems to dry down my eyelids a bit so I was wondering if anyone has used this long term and noticed any skin issues? I wouldn't want to dry out my skin long term to prevent shadow creasing in the short term. Thanks!
Hi Beautiful People, I recently decided to overhaul my makeup collection. I've tossed a lot of products and purchased some new and improved items as well. In depot-ing my favorite shadows, I discovered that the Laura Mercier Gilded Rosegold shadow I purchased long ago was not in a pan. (I figured this out after I already broke the case/shell it was in). l am interested in finding something small enough to fit in my small z palette. So, eyeshadow or single blush size. I don't care what brand (or even price) as long as I can find a replacement. I mostly use this on my eyes in the inner corner or as a highlight. Granted, this shadow is probably several years old and should be tossed, but I can't let it go without a replacement. Let's just say I knew who to turn to in order to find the perfect substitute. Thank you to everyone, J
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, I have purchased the Too Faced Peach Palette and I have a quinceneara coming up for which I want to do my own make up (I am the guest). My sister has the ABH Modern Renaissance palette which I might borrow depending on what look I will go with. I need some advice from all you experts on the type of brushes I need. I have been watching some YouTube videos and some of the artists have soooo many brushes which gets me lost. Please please help on guiding me to brushes and brands. I have E.L.F. brushes but I heard of Sigma brushes. Thank you in advance. Also, how to people put fake eye lashes by themselves?!
I'm considering investing in a Naked palette for every day use; however, I'm not sure which one would be best for me. I'm blonde with hazel eyes and pale/fair skin. I also wear black glasses daily. Right now I'm using the Elf Prism Palette in Sunset as my daily one, but I don't use the darkest shade much. I'm looking to expand my eyeshadow abilities and colors, and it seems like a Naked one is a good way to do it. Thoughts?
Hey beauties! I've recently been on the hunt for a natural looking mascara to wear during the daytime. I have strawberry blonde hair, so it's quite difficult finding a color that doesn't look to dramatic. I love the Benefit They're Real, but I find it's too difficult to remove and it's actually ruining my lashes! Ahhh!!! I have very long but invisible lashes, any suggestions? Thanks in advance! xoxo
Hello, I think I might switch over to ABH Dip Brow Pomade from ABH Brow Wiz but I need help in choosing a color for me. My hair is dark brown, closer to black and according to MAC foundations I use NC shades. Currently using ABH Brow Wiz in Ebony; Looking for color in ABH Dip Brow Pomade. Thank you!
So I'm looking at Smashbox X-Rated Mascara and I can see on the picture that one side of the wand has long bristles and the other shorter bristles. Which side do you use first? What is the difference? Thanks!
Has anyone else had hard bumps appear on their matte eyeshadows? I've only had my palette for 6 days and there are these hard bumps on the matte shadows. It's driving me crazy because it is out of stock and I can't exchange it! If this is normal I'll just return it, but I love the shade selection so if I can exchange it I would prefer that. It's frustrating because it is such an expensive palette and I don't know what to do! The pieces come off on the on my brushes and when I'm applying to my eyes! ☹️ I just want to know if this is common...
I have always had a big problem with mascara that smudges underneath my eyes... I have found a couple mascaras that work well, I am currently using Tarte's amazonian clay mascara, while I like it, it gives a more natural look. I want a mascara that gives volume and has a dark, inky black color. I know it would be best to test many mascaras out, but I don't really have the time (or money). Thanks so much, for any and all suggestions!
So of course I have the problem that has plagued us all for years: falling in love in eye shadow pallettes BUT you help. I have fallen in love with 3 shades from 2 of the Smashbox Cover shots pallets and I was wondering if anyone could help me shade match these shadows in individual shadows from other brands since smashbox does not sell individual shadows. I will post pictures for reference. Does not matter brand of shadows... In the first picture, "Smoky", from the left....the first shade and the fourth shade (purple and green) The second pallette...."Ablaze"....second of the left...(red shade)...brand doesn't matter
Hi, I hope it is ok to post this here but I have a question about how to spot if something is fake. I am asking because I really want a Guerlain Meteorites shade that was from 2 years ago and one eyeshadow palette I wanted sold out before I could get them and I have seen some on ebay and amazon and I was just wondering if I take a chance what should I look for? (I know buyer beware...but it is for myself and I am wanting the palette and I ran out of my meteorites in the shade I loved for years so if it turns out to be fake then it was my bad luck but I am hoping there are some that are legit....I have googled and looked for any info on signs to look for on the palette but I have not found anything...plus I see that you can get copies from Alibaba already on the palette and I was floored to see how many fake meteorites there were so I am just wanting to make sure they are legit if I can) 1. Guerlain Meteorites....is it true that they are all smooth on the inside of the top of the container? 2. Lorac Mega Pro Palette - Signs to look for? QR codes not working? Alignment off? Are there fakes that are really close to original?
I can see myself using both of palettes but not the two pink colours in the modern renaissance palette. Despite that I've had my eye on both these but really not sure which I should purchase, any advice on the products or personal experiences would be great!
I have black eyes and I'm tan with yellow under tones (MAC nc42) . Should I get the UD naked palette or the too faced natural eyes palette? Which one has better pigmentation? ( I don't own any eyeshadow palettes) I prefer slight shimmer over mattes. Please help
I've been looking at Urban Decay's Naked palettes, including the original, Naked 2, and Naked 3. Just wondering what you guys have thought of the pallets and which one you like best and/or recommend... I have dark brown eyes and light-medium skin tone if that makes a difference.
