Has anyone already tried the Chocolate bar? I see it is already on the website but not in stock. Also no reviews just yet. Just wanted to know if anyone has tried or maybe wants to try it? How do Too Faced shadows compare to the other neutral pallets out there (i.e Naked 1, 2, or 3, Lorac pro, etc) I see that it is around the same price range as all the others. So what do you think?? http://www.sephora.com/the-chocolate-bar-eye-palet te-P384402?skuId=1578012
Hi! I also this Urban Decay om Naked 2 from Sephora. However upon opening it at home, I noticed that the names of the palettes were not centered on the pans. I looked at reviews of fake Urban Decay 2 and this was always mentioned. Do you guys think this is fake or just a defect in manufacturing?
So I buy minis of mascaras because even though I use my mascara almost every day I can't seem to use it up.....it's been 5 months now that I have had my mini benefit they're real and I still think it works just fine. I really want to try to use it up or at least wait till it dries out. Do I have to throw it away??
I mainly used pressed eyeshadows, and have not had much luck with the brushes I have tried (wish I had done more research on the Real Techniques eye brushes before I bought them instead of blindly expecting them to fare as well as their regular brushes do) so I'm turning to you lovely ladies for guidance: are there affordable (I'm talking like under $10/15 per brush or something) eyeshadow brushes out there that can actually pick up product from the pan and deposit it onto eyelids without losing half the product in the bristles themselves? Or blending brushes that actually blend instead of wiping all the eyeshadow away? If you don't have one under that budget but still would like to share your love for some more expensive eyeshadow brushes, feel free to do so!
Well I'm not really stuck but I'm stuck on brown eye shadows. I love a smokey eye. So far I have the ladybird palette, naked 2palette (for some reason I don't find my self reaching for it .. Sadly. A waste) a smashbox trio (dark brown light brown and a cream white) and a Mac palette with 3 blendible light browns (Slowly building my palette) I love browns I guess. I'm not too into color and chunks of glitter but I do go to my naked 2 for gold colors. The black is so hard for me to blend in my naked 2 anyone else have this problem? However I would like a little color in my palette I don't like silver/grays though. I have olive skin, black ombré hair, and Dark Brown eyes. Any eyeshadow suggestions? As well as palettes? Silky eye shadows ? I've had my eye on the Too Faced Chocolate Bar & Anastasia's Cat Walk any one suggest Cat Walk? Thank you
This is so odd. I went to track the package that is due to be delivered today and noticed that the Naked3 palette is showing on my order page as permanently out of stock. I don't believe it for a second...there's no way UD made such a limited run after the success of Naked and Naked2.
Hey girls, So I happen to LOVE the colour red. I thought why not ask your thoughts on wearing red eyeshadow or red eyeliner ?. I know it's not a colour most people would be able to pull off. However I believe there are a lot of you ladies who would be willing to try and make it work or have made it work :-D
There's clearly an underlying trend with my faves, but I promise they all translate differently on the eyes and for different purposes . These are all part of the permanent range and/or are still available for purchase. -Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in B-day Suit: This is my favorite base to use on days when I'm wearing neutral powdered eyeshadows. Despite its sheer nature, it really amps up any taupes or grays I layer over it. I find that Benefit Creaseless shadows aren't too long-wearing, which is why I prefer using them as bases. One pot will also last you for a couple of years without drying out. (MAC paint pots, I'm looking at you!) -Chanel Illusion D'ombre in Initiation: One of the best holiday purchases this year, this bad boy is packed with shimmer and glitter -- perfect for this time of year! However, the glitter particles do not migrate throughout the day. This is probably one of the more opaque Illusion D'ombres Chanel offers, and it's just beautiful. Just go and pick it up. You'll be thanking me later -Diorshow Fusion Mono in 821 Chimere: This is perfect for days when I'm running late but still want something on my eyes with minimal effort. Chimere pulls rose gold under some lights and goldish brown in others -- truly a multi-faceted shade! The shimmer is quite noticeable, don't get me wrong, but it's still toned down enough that I would say is work appropriate. -Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Beige: Maybelline really outdid themselves with these Color Tattoos, as I find them far superior than MAC paint pots in terms of staying power and not creasing as the day goes on. I particularly like using Barely Beige as a base for champagne and peachy-pink powdered shadows. I haven't had any issues with these cream shadows drying out, but even if they did, I'm not complaining as they're a fraction of the price of most higher end ones. -Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Cream Shadow in Slate: I'm a huge fan of the Tarte Amazonian line for the eyes, and the huge dent in the pot is a good indication of how often I reach for this product. It's the perfect taupe shade in a cream form for me, as it pulls neither too warm nor too cool on my eyes. Again, another one of those pop on the lids and blend into the crease with my fingers of a shadow and I'm out the door. What are some of your favorite cream shadows?
I'm really really in need of some new eyeliner, I use pencils right now because I'm don't exactly the steadiest hands, but I'm finding it fades, smudges and "waterproof" is never truly so. I'm hearing awesome things about liquid eyeliner pens and want to give it a shot, does anyone know an awesome waterproof product that can do thinner and/or thicker lines? Thanks xoxo
With my blue eyes, I've found coppers and brassy colors and golds really bring out the blue tones. I've been relying on drugstore finds (with the exception of an Urban Decay 24/7 liquid liner in Eldorado) for my warm-metallic fix, but I'm always looking for recommendations for nicer products. Does anyone have any all-star products that fit this (incredibly vague, I know) description to recommend?
I have a really prominent undereye area when I smile. It is all I can see in the attached photo. How do I correct this? Or am I stuck? Also, good undereye serums, because I have lines when I smile, too. Secondly, what is the best way to do my eyemakeup with these glasses? I really don't actually know much about what I'm doing or what looks good on my when it comes to makeup, so I kind of buy and try and hope for the best. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
My mom has really sensitive eyes, and I want to get her some eyeshadow for Christmas. She has tried Clinique, Lancome, and Origins eye shadows and they all make her eyelids burn. She has used other eye products from these lines, such as mascara and liner, and not had a problem. Are there any other lines that have eyeshadow that would work well for sensitive eyes? I know she would just love it if I could find her some good eyeshadow! Thank you!!
I'm looking for an eyeshadow palette that is completely matte (this will be my first full matte palette) and I'm wondering which one you all would consider to be the best (more like, if there was only one palette you could use for the rest of your life you would use this one). So far I've been looking at Urban Decay, Too Faced, and Stila and they all look like great palettes, but which one would be best? I use mostly Kat Von D but I'm trying to explore other brands if that makes sense but if anyone has any opinions on the Ladybird palette please (of course) give a shout- out! Thank you very much!
I've been pondering purchasing a non-prescription lash enhancer, specifically the PTR and Tarte versions, but they're pretty pricey. Has anyone tried one of these, or any others? If so, what was your experience? Thanks!
http://www.sephora.com/colorful-eyeshadow-portfoli o-P377681?skuId=1596121 Is it just me, or is Sephora tripping? $600 for 80 of their no name eyeshadows? You can buy those Coastal Scents palettes for like $40. I can't believe anyone would buy this.
Hello everyone~ I'm fairly new to makeup and usually just use eye and lip products. I am Korean with light medium/medium skin with a yellow undertone, brown eyes, and black hair. I'm trying to decide between the new Naked 3 palette or the original palette. I do own the Naked Basics so I have some matte shadows. Which palette do you think would be best for me? Thank you!
I'm just getting into eyeshadows, and I'm wondering if anyone can suggest which Naked Palette would look best on my skin tone? I've attached a picture for reference. Just wondering if I should spend my December coupon on Palette #3, or instead go in store and test all of them at some later point when the hype has died down.
I know there are quite a few posts about the Naked Palettes, but the responses I've read haven't really told me what I want to know and it's hard to keep everything straight so here Naked 1 vs Naked 2 I have medium tan (think NC30- NC35, NARS Stromboli etc) skin with olive undertones and I have dark brown hair and eyes. I've been eyeing up the Naked 1 palette for years but haven't committed yet because I didn't know how much I would use it. I think I'm ready to get one now though, since I do have the $20 off waiting to be used, and I've started getting into eyeshadows more but I do not have a neutral palette yet. I would like to know which of the palettes you own, how often you reach for each and whether or not you find them to be worth it, compared to other neutral-ish eye palettes out there. Lastly, I think out of the three (I don't think I can wait for Naked 3 to launch on Sephora but still), Naked 1 would likely be the most useful/flattering for me, but if anyone has any other opinions, they would be really appreciated.
Does anybody know the American name for the eyeshadow 026 GOLDEN MAHOGANY? I know that the names are different in different contries. http://www.makeup4all.com/wp-content/uploads//2012 /01/LOreal-Color-Infaillible-Eye-Shadows-in-026-Go ...
Hi everyone, So I have been a lover of Urban Decay's Primer Potions for a few years now. Recently I have noticed that my eyelids are starting to crease no matter what eyeshadow I wear. I have even just put the primer on alone and I still see it crease! I find this really strange because it has never creased for me before and I know that my primer isn't old because I just bought a new one a few weeks ago and it creases as well. I'm not sure if it may be the new packaging of the primer that makes the formula not mix properly but I really don't know what's going on! Thanks for the help!
