The 1st is: EYEKO Me & My Shadow Waterproof Shadow Liner in : Charcoal - dark grey So I am trying to decide on which one of these would be best for me. I want something shiny, fast & easy to use, swivel stick/ no sharpening required, and somewhat sheer but buildable. I want to be able to kinda slap it on in a sense. I want to go for the Linda Perry / Rock & Roll (toned down a/b 5 notches, lol) look (minus the vasaline....even those it rocks in pic's & mag's, right!) that I can wear anytime of day. So, what do y'all think? Thank you in advance! The 2nd is : (own 3 of these in diff. shades) CLINIQUE Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Curvaceous Coal - dark charcoal gray
I want to get one of these during the August 3rd event, but I need to get some advice. I have medium brunette hair, blue eyes, and light to medium skin with neutral undertones. I have some other palettes (TF Chocolate Bar, Lorac Pro 1/2, Naked 1/2/3, UD Electric, and UD Smoked) and I would like something different than the palettes I have but complementary (if that makes sense) to them. If anyone has tried any of these and have any opinions, pros, cons, ect. on them I would love to hear Thanks in advanced!
I didn't see anything posted yet about these new palettes, but saw them on Ulta and I'm thinking of using my 20 percent discount to pick one up. A little pricey at $49 each, but it looks like a really nice palette! Top to bottom, they are Body, Mind, Soul and Spirit. Now to decide which one!
So I see that a lot of folks are not liking this new eyeliner, mainly because the formula is so dry that it doesn't go on smoothly. I tried this little trick this morning and it improved things greatly. The trick is gentle heat. You could probably just give the pen a little blast with a hairdryer, but mine wasn't handy so this is what I did. Make sure lid is screwed on nice and tight Place pen tip side down in a mug of hot tap water for about a minute Prep the tip by wiping it clean with a tissue dipped in the hot water and cleaning off any old product Twist and do a couple of test swipes on the back of your hand Ready to go It improves performance quite a bit, as the indirect heat softens the formula just enough. The downside to it is that it can be a little wasteful, as the heat will push out more product than you probably want. But I figure it's not as wasteful as having a $25 eyeliner sitting there that's impossible to use AMIRITE?
Hi! I'd like to put in an order soon and wanted to get this little kit, however, medium brown isn't in stock. Would brunette be too dark for me? I hope the pictures help, I don't have a lot of clear pics, sorry! And don't mind my sweatface on the first one.. Its called having a car without airconditioning, lol.
So I have super oily skin especially on my right eye and I have tried so many different eye primers and none of them seem to work. I have tried: UD Primer Potion in all shades Smashbox primer (both actually) Too Faced Eye Primer Benefit Stay don't stray Mac Paint Pot I even use the UD Set Spray All Nighter. What do you guys recommend for the best eye primer for oily skin. Something that will help my makeup stay for 10 hours?
I've never really done any makeup when it comes to my eyebrows. (as a matter of fact you can say I leave them alone most of the time, which is bad. I try to get it waxed every couple months or so) But I'm trying to change that. Can you guys recommend some good eyebrow makeup for me? I'm uploading a photo so you guys have an idea of the general shape/color of my brows. Keep in mind I'm a beginner at this
I know MUFE has come out with a ton of new shadows, does anyone have links to blogs or YT videos with some reviews or swatches? I've been looking but no luck yet. I know we can't post links, but I'd love a heads up to where I can see the new shadows in action. Thanx
I am in love with 99.9% of the colors in this palette! I have not tried the MUFE eyeshadows or this "unique gel-powder formula" does it blend easily? Any opinions on the formula? Is it worth the $46 dollars or go for KvD Monarch? I just came back from Asia (business, not fun) and saw that a lot of people there are using something called circle lenses. They're contact lenses that make your eye's iris look bigger. Have you guys ever heard of this here in the US? I'm just curious... (and, honestly, I have no clue in which board to post this... going with eye makeup as it's sounds like the closest)
I am soo excited, you guys! I've been on the hunt for the perfect under-eye concealer that will cover and brighten, without creasing, emphasizing my fine lines or looking cakey. I tried Nars Creamy Radiant concealer in color Chantilly, as well as MUFE Full Cover concealer in color Pink Porcelain. These products were OK, but now I have officially found my HG under-eye concealer: Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen in color Candlelight! I was hesitant to use this as a concealer but this really met all my needs and it literally looks like I have nothing on! It doesn't accumulate into my fine lines by the end of the day or look cakey ever. It looks almost sheer but it really brightens my under eyes and completely covers any darkness. Totally worth the money. This is my first official HG product, what's yours?
Hello, looking for a backup to my KVD Mi Vida Loca palette. How does Marc Jacobs the Siren compare? Are you able to lightly tap and get alot of pigmentation? I know Siren isn't as bright which is a plus for me, just don't know when a NIB Mi Vida Loca is going to come up again on Ebay and I really like to have a back up to her palettes. Should of bought Mi Vida Loca when it went onsale here a long time ago...ugh...*kicks self*
I know people ask lots of questions about which brow product is the best. I'm not saying this is the best one, but it works really well for me! I took 4 pictures: Nothing on my brows, Brow Wiz alone penciled in, Brow Wiz softened up with the attached spool end, and Brow Wiz softened with spool end and topped with some Anastasia Brow Powder. The Brow Wiz is soft brown, the powder is an older Anastasia duo with Medium Ash/Medium Brown. It looks very similar in color to the current Medium Brown duo online. Hope this helps! So I've been using Urban Decay Primer Potion (alternating between Original & Eden) for the last 5 years I'd say. I'm starting to feel kind of unsatisfied by it. The lasting power with it is phenomenal. However, I have noticed it is not as easy to blend certain eyeshadows when I use it. I alternated to using MAC's paint pot in Painterly which I love. The problem with Painterly is, even though it does make a beautiful base and blending is a dream, it does not hold up well with my eyeshadow. I have creasing and fading after just a few hours. Just for reference, I'm using shadows by UD, MAC, Laura Mercier, MUG, etc. I guess I'm looking for the best of both worlds. I'm looking for an eyeshadow primer that holds my eyeshadow in place all day while not changing the texture of my lids so I can still blend very easily. I love the gradient eyeshadow looks! Any tips or brands recommended? I was thinking of trying the Nars eyeshadow primer but it's $25 a pop which is a little more than I'd like to spend. I'll do it if I must, but I wanted to see what you lovely people had to say first! :-D
I currently have 11 of the 30 and will be purchasing 4 or 5 more, not interested in the pinks or white colors. Not many reviews on the new mostly swatches right now. Anyone using these new shadows, they are so pretty AND CHEAP!!!
I'm honestly always on a hunt for a better eyeliner. eyeliners that glide on smoother, that stay on longer, and is better value.. I have purchased and used the Bobbi brown's gel liner 2 times, but I'm not crazy about them. They stay on a bit better than Nars cream liners, but still isn't enough.. my undereye area gets very very messy after about 4 hours. I'm interested in the YSL gel liners, but like all other YSL products, the reviews are "too glowingly positive" For ex. their stick concealer and touche eclat foundation are nice, but they're not worth 5 star reviews. (at least in my opinion) Has anyone with eyes that are prone to smudging easily tried he YSL gel liner? (monolid reviewers would be even more helpful)
So my UD Perversion Mascara and Primer came in the mail today, and so far, I really like it! While it doesn't quite compare to my HG YSL BabyDoll, it does give some nice volume (especially when layered over the primer) and lengthens my lashes quite a bit. Plus the packaging is gorgeous, all though not quite what I would call perverse lol. Anyone else tried it yet? Thoughts? Pictures?

As soon as the Makeup Geek store restock their blushes, I'm placing an order. I am not familiar with their eyeshadow, which ones do you love/hate? What do you use it for (crease, highlight, blending, etc.)?
