Hey guys I was wondering if any of you know of a good concealer to use under the eyes? I use Laura Mercier's, however I find it to be cakey.
Thank you!

Amazing Cosmetics concealer, a TINY drop gives amazing coverage, since it's a liquid it's light weight and doesn't settle, but don't skip putting some primer under the eyes as well before your make up.

I use the Sephora Collection Smoothing & Brightening concealer under my eyes. It's very light but still covers my dark circles and never becomes cakey. On top of that I use Benefit's powderflage to set the concealer so that it doesn't crease. Hope that helps!

I find usually a good quality eye cream beneath helps. I recently started using Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream prior to application and it has done wonders.

Hi napslulu - I just started using and really like It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Waterproof Concealer. I also like Amazing cosmetics Concealer. The application tips that ry22 gave you are great. Best of luck.

Try a light pink highlight product underneath your eye first... I use the Estee Lauder Illuminator, but Mac has one too, and I'm sure Sephora sells some (the Benefit Eye Bright could work). You could also use a color corrector instead of highlighter, if you'd like... (check out Make Up For Ever's concealer palette). Then layer a liquid concealer over top. Again, I like the Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, just because it doesn't crease. But any lightweight liquid concealer should do. I then top with Benefit Powderflage, which Sephora no longer carries
I hope your options are open to other makeup brands! Haha

I was using laura mercier's undereye concealer as well up until recently when I just got tired of how it would cake up and settle in lines under my eyes. A few weeks ago I picked up the makeup forever hd concealer in the stick twist-up similar to the YSL one. It is absolutely amazing!!!!! Definitely recommend. It covers but does NOT cake or settle in lines, and it looks so radiant and beautiful and lasts ALL day.

Ry22 gave excellent suggestions! The Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer is an industrial concealer like the Benefit Erase Paste she uses so it's important to warm the concealer on the back of your hand before you apply it with either your fingers or a concealer brush. If that technique doesn't work, check out the Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer. That concealer glides effortlessly without tugging at the undereye area. It's also waterproof once you set it in with a setting powder like their Powder Set.
I hope this helps!
Cheers,
Tiffany

Hi napslulu!
I use Benefit Erase Paste. I am definately satisfied with it!

Some people think it is cakey as well, but I have found that if you:
1. Only use a little at a time and layer
2. Use eye cream
3. Warm it up with you body heat
then there is no cakeness.
Maybe you could give your Laura Mercier concealer one last try with these tips.
Hope this helps ![]()
