Pantone Color of the Year 2017, Greenery - What's in your stash?

Pantone's color of the year for 2017 was announced today! It is Greenery!

I think this is a lovely color but now sure how it will translate to all types of makeup (aside from eye makeup). Just wondering if you all already have anything in your stash that you think is in the Greenery family?

@Tamara76 That green might be ok in the inner corner or with some darker greens/blues. Those peachy shades are calling my name for sure though.

I read several articles online around December that Sephora didn't get the deal with Pantone and Butter London did. They have the six lip glosses & six nail polishes out now and an eight pan eyeshadow palette ($29) is due to drop in April 🙂

I actually saw the Butter London nail polishes at Ulta over the weekend.  I believe they were $10 each, but theynlooked a little bit smaller than normal size.  The colors were pretty, but I am not sure they were for me...

Yes! They are fashion size, so they are only half of a full size. I picked up Greenery and love it! I know thats def a color that isn't everyones cup of tea though lol!

Green is absolutely NOT my color!  I have tried different shades of green eyeshadow, nail polish, and clothing and have not found a color that works.

I can relate.  It draws out the yellow in my skin.  I have to put some sort of pink shade around any green I use or it can make me look sickly.

Ergh. Too yellow-green. Oh well, wasn't into last year's COTY marsala either.

Next time I find myself with the need for makeup in a color that resembles comic book slime or possibly radioactive waste, I'll have COTY 2017 to turn to as a point of reference!

Marsala was too warm for me.  I'm sitting on a palette that only the green and silver shades received love from me.  

The blush palette was awesome though!  

Maybe I'll be more into the punks they pair with this one😅

An interesting choice. I never wear green eyeshadow (probably since I have green eyes) but I know lots of people love to. It will be interesting to see what fashion items come out in this color though.

Ooh I think green eyeshadow would be very striking with your green eyes! I like wearing green shadows to lift the green in my hazel eyes.

That looks really pretty. Such a fresh green. I like green both in eyeshadows and in green cloths. Very excited to see all the new stuff in this color.

Love the choice! Not necessarily for makeup purposes even though I do like green eyeshadows. That picture is just so calming.

My closes greens are probably the ones in Viseart Boheme Dream and Editorial Brights. My Inglot 331 is close but not as pastel, 384 looks closer to that but I don't own it.

Green is one of my favorite colors and I've always been slightly annoyed by how difficult it is to find good ones, so I'm excited to see how makeup companies will incorporate it next year 🙂
