I received the launch email yesterday about the new Smashbox Image Factory collection. I'm loving these two palettes from the collection. Muse is on the left and Icon is on the right. These have the new Photo Op formula that everyone is saying good things about. I haven't purchased anything from this yet, but I'm trying to decide between the two.
I'm also intrigued about the new waterproof shadow liners. I only see the metallic bronze in stock at this point, but there appears to be some nice colors coming soon.
What are your first impressions..
Which of the two should be the first one in the cart? ![]()

Very pretty! I'm loving "Icon" with its bold and smokey purple and can't wait to try the shadow liners! I always give in to those and love them

Muse looks like it would be a beauty! I've not tried the Smashbox shadows. I want to see the exact shades of the neutrals, first, especially since I have the Naked palette.

I would be drawn to the ICON, only because I just purchased a neutral palette. Thanks for the post Elea33. <3 Also looking forward to the swatches. Thanks Sephora.

Hi elea33!
Thanks for sharing! I haven't checked my email yet.
The top one looks beautiful! I love neutral colors, and those look gorgeus. Not like Naked wannabes, but pretty and unique. I can see myself mixing and matching all these color with my Naked and Naked2.
The bottom one looks to bold for my taste. Not really something I would wear to high school. But it would be perfect if you are older and can pull off a darker eye. I just can't at my age.

Ele33,
The Sephora PRO Team have been asking for these blushes from Smashbox for a LONG TIME! A few years back they released a natural collection that Featured a Blush and Highlight duo with the same whipped textured! THEY ARE AMAZING! They glide on the skin and give a really easy and natural flush! GET EXCITED! I'm getting both of them :-)

The top/left one, Muse, is what I prefer. Muse seem to have warm undertone while Icon is cool undertone. I prefer warm toned eyeshadows, and that light pink and dark brown combo is exactly what I'm looking for (same as a Dior or Chanel ad I saw with spring floral garden look and the girls have pink/brown shadows). Black and white eyeshadows are very common in palettes but I don't use them very often, so I've already got more than enough of those and prob won't use the ones in Icon. So, Muse have most pretty colors I would use.
