Is it wrong that I am so excited?

So.......I FINALLY got the Stila in the Light palette a few days ago and I am so excited to experiment with it. When it came in the post, I felt like a child unwrapping a long anticipated gift.  This is my first real eyeshadow palette (used mostly single pots or quads before) and I am super excited.  Is it wrong that makeup can make you so happy? LOL I am going away this weekend and definitely taking this with me hehehe.

Haha trust me I know what you mean!!  Whenever I get a new piece for my little collection (especially mascara) I carefully examine it, read whatever little booket or thing that comes with it, test it out (just a little) and just stare at it for a good 15-30 minutes while I watch TV or something

Honey, it would be wrong if you *werent* excited about your purchase.

I dont buy anything that I'm not crazy for and beauty items are meant to be used, not looked at.

Just like beautytester said, you have come to the right place.  I get excited whenever I come home from a Sephora store or get an order through the mail regardless of what's in it-even if it's just a replacement of something I've run out of.  It's always exciting to try out something new, so you are definitely not alone!

Are you kidding? I think we all get super excited for a new palette or lipstick, whatever! Guys get excited about tools or whatever it is they like, so we're entitled to be excited for makeup. I was like this when the Naked 2 palette came out. Right now I am super excited over the color Freelove that I purchased for my Build your Own UD. Paired with a nice brown from Naked, it looks so cute for summer.

Enjoy your palette! I really like that one too and have been debating on purchasing it. I have a ton of palettes to use already but they are so convenient and cute to use.

This is BeautyTalk, sweetheart, it's never wrong to get so excited.

I always get excited when I get bunch of tiny little shiny make ups (kits) cuz then it's like a party. I was super excited when I got the 500pt Tarte kit, the True Blood eyeshadow pallete and the Tokidoki 24K brushes.
