I wear contacts and if i put eyeliner on my waterline my contacts dry up. I went to sephora and the make up artist told me to buy tarte gel eyeliner. I have a problem at the corner of my eye it starts running and i look like i\\\'ve cried. I spend money on this product and the only thing i like is that my contacts dont dry up? what should i use on my waterline as eyeliner? plus i have a very oily skin.

I have the same exact issue with contacts and eye liner. I bought Sephora's Waterproof retractable liner and it stays on my waterline without bothering my contacts. I actually just bought a 2nd one the other day. MAC also has a great pencil liner that doesn't irritate my eyes at all. The only issue I have with that one is it'll sometimes leave a line over my eyeshadow where it presses against my upper lash line.

I agree with Diana! If your eye is watering you should discontinue use. Try using a retractable gentle cream liner like the Sephora Collection 01 Black - classic black.

If the Tarte Gel liner is not working for you, please return it for something else! I would suggest that youtry the Clinique Brush on Cream Liner. This is a heavy duty long lasting cream liner that stays great on the lids and on the waterline. I use it myself when I need a long lasting and non irritating waterline for my eyes (which are very sensitive, allergy prone and I wear contacts!)

Another one that I like is the Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof which is a self sharpening, retractable,smooth and easy to use liner.

yes! if you changed your mind or are not happy with it you are free to bring it back to your local store for a return or exchange.
