FEBRUARY 2017: 25 Days of EYESHADOW CHALLENGE (plus, color sub-challenge)

For those that need a little guidance on getting started here is a color sub-challenge.  Let's go by day of the week for simplicity. Don't get stuck in a rut. Use different colors each time from this Chart.

Mon: 1st row

-creams, browns, burgundy

-violets and darker pinks

Tue: 2nd row

-creams, copper, golds, taupe

-pastel pinks, bright pinks, golden peach

Wed: 3rd row

-grays, taupe, silver, white, black

-sienna, yellow, soft peach, bright orange

Thu: 4th row

-all blues

-creams, peachy nudes, mossy greens

Fri: 5th row 

-all greens, aquamarines

-ROY G BIV 

What: 25 days of daily eyeshadow Show & Tell.

-Wear a different eyeshadow(s) for 25 days.
-Post photos of eye look, eyeshadows or swatches.

 Love this eye look! I am a little (just a little) over my gold eyeshadow obsession and have moved on to KVD Tinsel eyeshadow.

Natural eye look! Smudge, Dab, Rub, Smoked....100x + primer + 6 colors + 5 brushes.

If I could give this more *hearts* I would!  Clean, vibrant but soft, and beautiful!  Was that blue wing freehand?

@Harpier82, thank you! And yes, the blue wing was freehand. I used the thin side of the brush that came with the palette. That and a few qtips dipped in micellar water to clean up the line and the fall out. Of all the shadows, that blue have me the most fall outs, but it was worth it. Such a beautiful color!

Here is Mac Groundwork as a base on lid and crease (love!) and Tom Ford Platinum on lid. Excuse the eyebrow, eyebrows will likely never be in my skill set.

@playingdressup - I like your eyebrows the way they are!  You can do eyebrows...you just have to figure out which product(s) work for you and then practice.  This takes time.

I have trichotillomania--I pull out my eyelashes and eyebrows.  My eyebrows no longer grow back.  I draw them on every day.  It took trying many different products in many different formulas before I found what I like.  It's taken a lot of practice to get my eyebrows to look nearly the same every day, meaning they're pretty close to being on the same level and the same size.  Even so, one day they're thinner; the next, thicker, then they're darker; then, lighter.  It's more the rare occasion that they look how I envision. 😄  If I can do this, you can do yours!

I definitely need practice and patience with it, It's just not my favorite makeup step. It's really only when I see photos of myself that I realize i should take the time. Sorry to hear about your trichotillomania. If you can do all that, I should be able to get it together! 😊

Subtle was the name of the game; used:
ABH Fresh - set primer 
UD Buck - above crease 
ABH Bengal - all over lid
ABH Chocolate - outer v 
Lorac shimmer lightly tapped in center of lid. 

Ramped it up for the evening....

Packed more of that Lorac shimmer shade over the inner 2/3 of lid and built up Chocolate in the outer v.   Too lazy to add liner.
