Anatasia Perfect Brow Pencil or Brow Whiz

Hey guys. I am thinking of getting either the Anatasia Perfect Brow Pencil or the Brown Whiz (both in Brunette).  My skin can get oily, and my number one concern is staying power. I have heard that some prefer the Brow Whiz because of the thinner strokes you can make and because there is no need to sharpen.  I was all set to get it until I tried out my moms and noticed that it seems to smudge away easily.  Granted, my skin was super oily at the time but still.  Does anyone know if the Perfect Brow Pencil has better staying power? Any thoughts/recommendations? I appreciate it as always. xo

I don't know if you want to try a dior brow pencil, they are a top rated and best selling product and I think it might be just what you are looking for.

hi elizabeth1972 - Anastasia makes a Tinted Trow Gel that comes in the form of a mascara, there are 5 colors and it's not supposed to fade or flake, don't know about water/sweat will be problematic. I think she'd say they were waterproof. She also has a Clear brow gel, also in the form of a mascara tube/wand, you can use it after your brow product or possibly alone.. Not sure if that would help you avoid eyebrow products, at least for a while, but hopefully it will help keep it on.

 I'm also wondering if you've see the new product by Anastasia, it looks so cool! It's called Anastasia's Lash Genius Waterproof Top Coat, it is intented to go over your mascara........but now you have me wonderfing if yuu could use it on top of whatever brow products you use, i.e. Tinted Brow Gel.....might work. Nor sure.....what do you think? Any mods out there with an opinion? Maybe it would be best to contact Anastasia's company directly.

Hope this can work, what a revelation and innovation that would be for all of us who want to do a little something with our brows but are afraid of the issues associated with it.

kssweetheart - Thank you so much for your suggestions hun.  I will definitely check out the tinted brow gel and see what its all about.  I am looking for something thats easy and quick to apply, so that may be a good option.  I was using Anatasia powdered brow set, the one that comes with the stencils and wax, as my first foray into doing my brows.  It was working great but I find that in the summer the powder starts to fade as my skin gets oilier through the day, even with the wax.  Also, it can look less natural. My problem is my brows are natural sparse, no overplucking or anything, they are just small and on the thin side. So I do need to fill in a little.   In addition, my natural brows start a litte bit away from where they say your brow should start (you know like when you hold the pencil against the side of your nose to determine the starting point) - so I want to fill in that area a little, but don't want it  fading out  two hours later because then its looks even more ridiculous. But maybe like you say, putting a gel over it will help the product stay.  I am gonna look on youtube and see if anyone has used Anatasia's Lash Genius as a brow gel lol....and let you know what I find.  Thanks again. xo
