looking for a metallic pink eyeshadow
ok, so im loving the Buxom eyeshadow pots (the ones with the dog names to it)m especially the Chihwaha one (silver). Now i am looking for a good Champagne and also a Pink metallic eye shadow. Does anyone know of some good ones? Also, i know this question is really for the face makeup, but im looking for a good matte pressed powder. i hate looking in the mirror during the day and not seeing the powder. i kinda have uneven skin tone and some acne spots. I have VERY porcelain skin, and most foundations and powders come off looking orange on me. Does anyone know of a really good fair or porcelain pressed powder that will give me coverage, but also a matte finish that i will notice. Thanks!
I absolutely love Dior's Earth Reflections eye palette. It has the champagne and the pink and lovely browns. I use it weekly if not daily!! It lasts forever too. I'm not sure about the pressed powder, I never use them!
Benefit makes a great pressed powder that can work as a setting powder over liquid foundations, but it's buildable so it can be used as a powder foundation, too. It's called "Hello Flawless! SPF 15" and it comes in a very light shade called "Me, Vain?" Champagne". I have a very light complexion and I used to wear the color "Never Settle Petal" and it was very light so the "Me Vain" color should work great on a porcelain complexion. You can find out more about it on Sephora's website at: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P231510
Now for eyeshadows.....I use a very bright fuchsia color called "Fuchsia 26" which is a vibrant matte pink made by Make Up For Ever. You can find it on Sephora's website at: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P12633&
I hope this helps you.
oooh! Forgot the foundation.
Def try Makeup Forever's duo matt foundation. Also, sephora collection has a matte finish powder + foundation (a little less if you're watching your budget). Def invest in a good primer as well. If you have uneven skintone/acne scarring try Smashbox's photofinish primers in the green color .
are you wanting a pale, icey pink metallic shadow or a vibrant more hot pink?
Depending on which one i have a couple diff recs: Check out Stila brands Kitten (pan eyeshadow) and possible Urban's Woodstock. If neither of these work, go to MAC and check out: Star Violet, Swish, Sweet lust (although this is more of a glitter than metallic), and Jest.
As far as the champagne creme, have you tried "Poodle" in Buxom's collection yet?
Also check Benefit's creaseless cream shadows in "Birthday Suit and "Tatte Tale."
Re: your powder question, I *love* Clinique Stay Matte Sheer Pressed Powder. I'm super fair, and I use Stay Buff (which is actually lighter than Stay Cream, if you look at the swatches) -- but if you're worried about shade matching, you can order Invisible Matte, which is translucent. It instantly absorbs oil and shine, leaving a soft, matte finish: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P12
For champagne and metallic pink shadows, try Smashbox single shadows in Shell (soft nude pink shimmer) and Champagne (golden beige shimmer): http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P21
If you're looking for a darker metallic pink, try Urban Decay eyeshadow in Hotpants (medium pink shimmer): http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P02

llamasqua makes a long wearing, fair powder foundation. Matte finish.
Try Urban Decay for the Shadows. Pink Champagne shimmer, (Sellout).
