I want to purchase a palette for my Mom for Christmas and figured I should start early. She doesn't like a lot of shimmer, so I'd like it to have a nice assortment of matte shades, but I'd also like to introduce her to a satin (but nothing wildly glittery/frosty/shimmery) finish, since she has really pretty green eyes. She likes a lot of neutrals and light pinks/plums. (I've tried the UD Naked Palette on her, but the really shiny shades scared her a little haha.)
I'm trying to ease her into higher-end makeup, because I know the quality is much better than what she's used to, but don't want anything too expensive and opulent that she'll feel she can't use every day (so maybe $35 and under).
I've been looking at the Too Faced Naked Eye palette, since she really liked the look of it the last time we were in the store. Would this be something she'd love, or should I keep looking? I really hope someone can help!
