What is a way to make my blue eyes look bigger?
I have really bright, big, blue eyes, but I would like to know how to make them pop even more. How can I make them appear bigger and brighter without over-doing my makeup?

Bronze is a really good color to bring out blue eyes regardless of where your particular eye color falls in the blue color spectrum. I have lighter blue eyes with a bit of gray in them and I find that gray and purple shadows also look stunning, so you may want to play around with those shades as well.
Smashbox makes a blue eyes kit I think you should try. I bought last years version and really liked it.

To make them bigger, apply white eyeliner on your waterline. It really opens them up and makes them pop!

I have light blue eyes, and browns are definitely the best color to make them pop. My favorite product is Chanel's 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow in Demure, which is comprised of three shades of pink and a deep espresso. It makes my eyes look really intense! If you don't mind spending the money, it's a great investment and lasts for ages.
A similar shade combination would be Smashbox shadow trio in Headshot (pink/ivory/brown) -- and On Stage (gold/brown/beige) is great, too. http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P36
I'm with Kalex, too -- Smashbox Master's Class: Ultimate Eyes is a great investment, because you'll have shadows and products you need, AND a tutorial for helping you create several differnet looks that all emphasize your blue eyes!
Generally speaking, too, I love black eyeliner -- not jet black, and certainly not a thick line, but I think black eyeliner is great for making blue eyes pop...and if you feel that black is too harsh for you, try a deep brown.
I hope this helps ![]()

As kalex mentioned, bronze is definitely the way to go for blue eyes. A coppery bronze color will make the blue color pop really beautifully.
To make your eyes look even bigger, try lining your waterline with a flesh-colored pencil (Stila makes a popular one!). Then make sure to curl your eyelashes well and apply a good coat of lifting, volumizing mascara to both your top and bottom lashes. This will make the whites of your eyes look whiter and brighter, and give your eyes a nice, rounded appearance.
