Shaping eyebrows
Finding the right eyebrow shape. We all have different lengths, widths and thickness... I also have my personal preference and I find it very hard to shape my eyebrows... I have eyebrows that needs cutting as they tend to grow downwards... I want to find out how I can do that myself. I also have my personal preference and I find it very hard to shape my eyebrows to suit my face.

My eyebrows grow up towards my inner eye, but then grow down towards my outer eye. I use a lash comb, hold the brow hairs in place with it, then use baby nail safety scissors to cut the hair. Don't make any big cuts, and step away from the mirror and check your work after EVERY cut to make sure you don't overdo it. Also, every so often I go to the nail salon and get them waxed and shaped for $7. It's totally worth it.
I have started using Makeup Forever's waterproof eyebrow corrector and it works so well.

I had the same problem and I asked around and read some beauty books and found out the best way to do my brows is with a stencil. I bought the Anastasia Brow Kit which comes with 5 stencils and I found one that fit perfect. The kit comes with a mini DVD that show you how to do this. The kit seems a bit expensive at first but knowing what I know now I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. The kit comes with tweezers, dual colors, soothing gel, shaping gel, highlighter, 5 stencils, special brow brush all in a beautiful purple leather bag. You use the stencil then tweeze or clip outside the stencil. I love doing my brows now. I'm a person who can't draw a straight line with a ruler but I was able to do this pretty easily. I hope this helps you.
