Senior Year Prom Makeup
[ Edited ]So I don't know what look I want for my prom this year. It's my senior prom and this is my dress...
I'm debating doing a really neutral eye and going with bold red lips, I was thinking of using Kat Von D's Adora lipstick for that. Or would neutral lips and maybe a smokey eye look better? I usually play with my eyes, and it's usually bold colors like blue and purple and green from Urban Decay. I'm a brunette with blue eyes, and I'm Fairly Light in Bare Minerals foundation. (I don't know what that would be in MAC, that seems to be what everyone uses to describe themselves.

I agree with the cat eye response - I think if you did a neutral eye with a winged out liner and a set of flattering false lashes it would look really nice. Then you could do either a soft rosey color on the cheeks or something like Nars Orgasm and then do a red lip. I personally would stay away from a smokey eye, only because I think 1. you are young and those types of looks can be aging and you want to maintain your youthfulness and not look like ur 12 pretending ur 30 and 2. with a dress that is long with that much going on, you really dont want to do too much with the makeup, it just looks busy. Thats just my opinion though, so hopefully that helps you decide! Have fun at prom!!
