No eyebrows & eyelashes

I have no eyebrows or top lashes. Its very easy to feel "Ugly" any suggestions? I've tried fake eyelashes and they kept falling out and as far as eyebrows go i've penciled them in but it doesn't look real...

Hi fieryredhead. Did you see the NARS sets that came out? Front Row? Fashion Icon? The runway inspired look featured models with bleached eyebrows to make them almost non-existnt. Then do a bold eye.  You should have a look at the sets/looks.  Often they also paired a bold lip with the bold eyes.  In short, I would stop trying to imitate the masses, but rather find your own beauty.  I've seen looks where no mascara is used (eyelashes dusted in fall-out shadow disappear) and just soft powdery pastel shadow around the eye up towards to level of an eyebrow and a natural or pastel lip.  Rock your own beauty - I cannot say it enough. PS trends this summer season is beautiful flush cheeks.

i have the same problem due to medical issues. i've been suffering for the past 10 years, so i've tried tons of things.

This stuff has worked wonders for me and is what i use for my brows. the color is buildable, and i just use a thin concealer brush to apply it. -  http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P191310&categoryId=C12740&shouldPaginate=true

Because i've been doing this for a while, and because i do makeup for a living, I free hand my brows on. although it says its water proof, its not. and honestly, nothing really is. but, if you apply a setting spray, they'll stay on as long as you dont soak your face in water.

as far as your lashes, if you get a basic, short, not too full, set, then they should work okay. otherwise you just have to layer on that eyeliner.

6aa0801 is very right. You may want to also ask your doc about latisse. It's like rogaine for brows and lashes. It's worth a try.

@ fieryredhead. I have to agree with 6aad0801 that NARS has great sets specifically geared towards the "no brow" look and feel that you should flaunt your beauty. If you're looking for a great product to help give you natural looking brows I would highly recommend the Make Up For Ever Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector (http://bit.ly/hojAcE) applied with an angled brow brush.  This eyebrow corrector comes in various shades and when applied becomes sweatproof and waterproof so you look flawless in any weather condition. As for your eyelashes I would recommend speaking with your physician to see if there are any products he can prescribe to help them grow back.

Hope this helps! :smileyhappy:

Have you ever tried Duo Lash adhesive? I know false lashes seem like such a pain but once you really figure out how to pop them on quickly I really think they'll help your situation. You can always custom cut them to fit your eye. I had the problem with being nervous about them falling until I switched to duo. Now, I can wear them forever and I never worry about them falling off. I know it seems like such a hassle, but it really can be a confidence booster for you!

I just wanted to let you know about a couple of products that you can buy without a prescription that help re-grow eyebrows and eyelashes.  I'll list them below with a link so that you can read all about them:

Anastasia Brow Enhancing Serumhttp://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P173000&categoryId=C10474
