Natural Eye Palette!
I'm looking for a palette that has a lot of browns and neutrals; for the crease, inner corner, and lid, etc. I would like one that suits multiple skin tones and is also easy to travel around with as well. Can you help me?
The Too Faced Naked Eye Palette is a beautiful option for many skin tones. I'm SUPER pale and it looked fantastic on me, and I bought the same thing for a friend of mine who has quite tan skin and it looked amazing on her as well. Also, this palette is actually available, versus the Urban Decay one which has been sold out for months. The eyeshadows have amazing pigmentation and staying power too.
The perfect palette just like you've described is the Naked Palette by Urban Decay. However, it has been a hard to get item. Sephora has been out of stock for quite some time. Ulta recently had some of them, but I don't know if they still have them or not. I heard that Urban Decay's website was going to have some back in stock soon, but I don't know when. I guess I've not really helped a whole lot since the nude palette I've told you about is almost impossible to get. You can take a look at it on Sephora's site at: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P267200
However, Guerlain has a nude palette that is very good, too. It is called "Écrin 6 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette - Rue des Francs-Bourgeois" and you can find it at: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P271302
I hope this helps you.
There are actually two choices from Too Faced:
The Naked Eye Soft and Sexy: This one is slightly more dramatic
The Natural Eye Neutral:This one is truly neutral
I love Too Faced, but I think Urban Decay has better color payoff. I also think the Naked set is a better value for your money. At $44 you get primer, two colors of waterproof eyeliner and 12 eyeshadows. Although currently unavailable, it is part of their permanent collection. So if you can wait, I'd hold out for that. If not, Too Faced is an excellent second choice!
The Urban Decay Naked Palette. But this is like gold and difficult to find. Other good ones would be the Too Faced Natural Eye Kit or the Bobbi Brown Day to Night Warm Eye Palette. The Bobbi Brown palette looks very nice, but as far as I know, it is not sold at Sephora. I do know you can find it at Bloomingdale's and here http://www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com/holidayguide10/
This has been much talked about but I think the Urban Decay Naked Palette is closest to what you are looking for
Also, take a look at the LORAC color me couture eye palette : http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P22
Smashbox eye wish palette: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P27
Hope that helps!
