Eyelash falling out, what to do?
My eyelashes are falling out too much. Its getting to the point that I have a big gap with no section of eyelashes. and its scaring me. I do use an eyelash curler. Is that the cause of my eyelashes falling out? the mascara I use is the full 'n soft by maybelline. Please help. and oh yeah its only on my right eye where the eyelashes are falling out. My left eye is perfectly normal.
I agree, you may be using too much pressure or if you're using your lash curler on lashes with mascara that could be weakening them.
I say give your lashes a break and just wear liner to add emphasis to your eyes, or try a more natural brand. Maybe something in your mascara is irritating the lash bed?

I hope this information helps you to keep and to re-grow your beautiful eyelashes.
Are you right handed? I wonder if you are squeezing your right eyelashes harder than the left side? When I was first using a curler, I wasn't doing it right and had some lash loss (it does grow back, but slowly). The makeup artist at Shu Uemura told me to stop putting on the mascara before curling as it sticks to the curler and can pull out lashes. You might try Smashbox Lash Revival Treatment and Conditioner to condition your lashes and help them grow back.

Also, check if your mascara is old. Old mascara clumps and dries and can pull out more eyelashes. If it's old, throw it out asap. Mascara pretty much should be thrown out every 3 to 6 months from the first time of using the mascara. Just check.
And, eyelashes are hair. We have to make sure to condition our eyelashes. It will nurish eyelashes to be stronger. I have noticed lash growth by using eyelash conditioner or conditioning primers. I like using this Japanese eyelash conditioner called "Styling Professional".
I also like to put a little facial oil on my eyelashes when I go to sleep. Helps my lashes stay flexible and not bend while I sleep.

@biancadunks - Yikes. that is scary. I hate to be an alarmist, but, you should really see the doctor. There could be a bunch of different things causing it, the dr needs to check that out. I use an eyelash curler religiously, and I've read it can be problematic. I don't know if just one eye means it is a good thing or a bad thing. I know we all hate going to the dr but it's worth it, if it gets worse you may be forced to stop wearing eye makeup all together for a while. I had something, we don't know what it was, it came and went mysteriously and as long as I wore no eye make up I was fine. Devastated and a little scary-tired looking, but fine. It ended up resolving itself, it took a a couple of months though. I wore sunglasses a lot, in an effort to conceal my naked eyes. So you might want to bite the bullet..... Good luck with this and I hope you'll start a post and let us know how you make out with this. It may help others. Good luck
