Bobbi Brown cream eye shadows
I'm looking to try Bobbi Brown cream eye shadows. I have blue eyes, dark brown hair with blonde highlights, and fairly light skin.
Does anyone have recommendations for color combinations? I've never used anything but powder shadow and I'm not sure what to expect.
Any differences you've seen compared to powder shadow that are worth mentioning?
Thank you!!

To make your blue eyes really stand out, wear an eyeshadow that’s the opposite of your eye shade on the color spectrum. For instance, peachy brown hues make blue eyes pop. However, blues eyes and eyeshadow colors vary depending on hair color.
Brunettes with blue eyes look best wearing the following colors:
- copper
- peach
- coral
- bronze
- rust
- orange
Neutral colors that work for blue-eyed people with any skin tone and hair color are:
- peachy brown
- white
- grey
- khaki
- chocolate brown
- camel
So, in the Bobbi Brown Cream Eyeshadows you could wear any of the colors except for "Mauve" which might not be as flattering as the other colors.
When using a cream eyeshadow, I still wear Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion because I have very oily eyelids. Some people can get away without wearing a primer on their lids when wearing a cream shadow since the consistency is different than that of a powder shadow, but I think it's still a good idea to wear a primer--however, the choice is up to you.
You can apply cream shadows with a clean fingertip or with a brush similar to a concealer brush. A brush makes it easier to get into the corners of your eyes and to blend it more evenly, in my opinion.
I hope this helps you and have fun with your new shadows! ![]()
