What do you think is the best eyelash enhancer for longer lashes?

Answers: 3

There are several different types of products that promote lash growth and/or re-growth.  Some are treatments, some are eyelash primers with treatment included, some are treatment mascaras, etc.  Below is a list of nine different eyelash growth-promoting products that Sephora carries:

DiorShow Maximizer Lash Primer Serum is a treatment primer which instantly primes, plumps and lengthens lashes with its ultra-light and quick-drying formula.  This "active serum" mascara primer also contains a unique cell-conditioning complex made up of hydrolyzed soy proteins that promote long-term lash growth, strength, and vitality and you can read all about it here:

Smashbox Lash Revival Treatment & Conditioner is a treatment serum that is best used as an overnight treatment and should not be applied more than once every 24 hours.  This treatment contains SymPeptide, which is a complex proven to stimulate lashes without irritation while anchoring and enhancing your existing lashes.  Independent consumer studies show that 90% of subjects noticed an overall improvement in the appearance of lash length, fullness and thickness in just 8 weeks.  You can find this product at:

Givenchy Mister Lash Booster is a treatment gel which is a transparent, non-sticky serum enriched with a powerful sea molecule well-known for its revitalizing properties.  Your lashes are left fortified, densified and more resistant to falling out.  You can read all about it here:

Peter Thomas Roth Lashes To Die For – Platinum is a concentrated nighttime eyelash serum treatment that increases the appearance of lash thickness and fullness and helps lashes appear nearly twice as long in just four to eight weeks.  You can find out more about it here:

Tarte MultiplEYE Lash Enhancer is a natural treatment that increases the appearance of the length of your lashes by 152%.  The proprietary HydroPlant Peptide™ is clinically proven to give the appearance of longer, thicker lashes with all natural ingredients and you can read more about this product here:

Sephora Collection Advanced Lash Booster Mascara, is a treatment mascara, scientifically proven to enhance four lash characteristics:  length, thickness, fullness and strength.  A new technique harnesses coating elements, with perfectly rounded microspheres, to triple the penetration of active ingredients into your lashes.  You can find out more about it here:

Fusion Beauty StimuLashFusion Intensive Night Conditioning Lash Enhancer is a lash amplifying treatment serum that works while you sleep.  This treatment enhances the look of your eyelash length and fullness in approximately six weeks while the advanced formula also delivers a protective dose of Vitamin E and nourishing infusions of peptides and amino acids.  You can find this product here:

Talika Lipocils Expert is a treatment primer that provides the following three actions in this one product:  1) the appearance of longer and thicker eyelashes; 2) color darkening; 3) and curling.  You can find out more about it here:

Urban Decay Lush Lash System is a treatment serum that’s a two-step lash fortifying system for creating 25% longer, thicker lashes in just two weeks.  In combination, these two products create longer, thicker lashes that resist loss and breakage.  The clear gel-like serum accelerates the growth of your lashes with peptides.  You just use the tiny brush to apply it at your lash line and it penetrates at the root and stimulates keratin to lengthen, thicken and fortify your lashes.  The conditioning mask applies with a wand and loads your lashes with growth peptides and high potency ingredients like Panthenol and Vitamin E.  You can read more about this product here:

I have also read in magazines and on the Internet that castor oil applied to the lash line every night at bedtime promotes eyelash growth.  It is supposed to be nourishing to your lashes and prevents them from falling out and from breaking, which in turn makes them appear longer and thicker since they are not breaking and falling out.  I did read that you should get the purest form of castor oil when using on your lashes, so I think it would be best to buy the castor oil from a health food store.  You simply apply the castor oil to your lash line with an eyeliner brush at bedtime and wash it off in the mornings.  Results are supposed to begin to show in one to two months.  In case you want to try this inexpensive, natural method of enhancing your eyelash growth and want to see a video tutorial about it, here’s a link to a video:

I hope this information helps you to grow beautiful eyelashes.

These were my experiences with the following eyelash growth products:

Latisse - By prescription only, I bought mine from a plastic surgeons office for $120. It worked well, and my lashes were quite a bit longer as quick as one month later. The problem is that the area where I was applying it got dark, which made my eyes look like I had day-old eyeliner on all of the time. Not a good look for me. Also, the area right underneath my eye started to get dark, which made my dark circles look even worse. Taking all that into consideration, it just wasn't worth it for me to continue using Latisse.

After discontinuing Latisse, my lashes started to shed and they went back to their original state pretty quickly.

Revitalash - I can't recall exactly what I paid for this, but it was over $120 and it did absolutely nothing, other than irritate my eyes. I saw no difference after using for one month.

Urban Decay Lush Lash System - Love this! It works well, and at $42, it is much more reasonably priced than the Latisse and Revitalash options. No darkening of my eyelids, either.

I just applied every night prior to going to bed, and my lashes were longer, stronger, and thicker.
