I hope you can help me! I am currently looking into getting a new mascara. I have been using Helena Rubenstein Lash Queen Waterproof Black for a while, but I wanna change it. I have thin, short and fine lashes, so looking for a formula that won't weigh down my lashes, which is my main problem with all mascaras. I prefer it to be waterproof as I work out a lot. I really want lots of volume and lenght. I really hope you can suggest some suitable mascaras for me.
I've been trying to get the perfect winged eyeliner but I can rarely get a perfect line and when I do it's never the same as the other eye. Is there some sort of tool that can help me with the line? I know shadow shields help along with eyeshadow but I have no idea where to buy those. I also heard that Sephora had some sort of eyeliner applicator thing. I don't know, all I'm really seeking is some sort of tool not really a technique. Any ideas?
What is your favorite holiday eyeshadow palette of 2014? So far I've purchased Kat von D star studded palette, HK palette, Vice 3 palette, and Lorac Mega pro. Should I look into anything else? I have the TF Sugar & Spice palette and the UD shadow box sitting in my cart.
Hi! First post. I am totally addicted to neutral eyeshadow palettes and need a little help. What are your fav non-neutral palettes. I have several (sigh, FOUR) of the NAKED palettes and another neutral Tarte palette (and I'm forgetting a few others) and really want to add some color to my collection. I love so many and just can't make a decision.
Just yesterday, I marveled at how well I'd been doing NOT buying things I don't need... Than Chanel came out with the LE Holiday Quad. I resisted for about 16 hours, and today, a friend told me she got it this weekend, and that was all it took; It's on it's way to me. SMH. Anything lately enable you this easily? (isn't it pretty?!?!)
The last couple of lash primers I tried (which, to be fair, was a while ago) were really disappointing---causing a lot of flaking & clumping. That said, I'd really like to find a great one that does a good job of conditioning & protecting my lashes. From what I hear it seems like DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum and Givenchy's Mister Lash are probably the best two, but was hoping for some feedback on which is better. Update: Based on the advice you guys gave me I got the Dior, and it is amazing!
So I am just curious to here some opinions and preferences 1) How do you feel about wearing false lashes regularly or are you more of a wearer only for special events? 2) What are your lash preferences? 3) Any primer suggestions? I am happy with my lashes but I'm looking to try new things feel free to answer what questions you want or add your own
I searched BT and haven't been able to find a post for the new IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Matte Palette, so my apologies if this is a duplicate. I saw it in person today and had to have all of the gorgeous cool-toned matte colors!!!! And here is a pic that compares the new palette with the original: Anyone else grab this palette yet? I am so excited to use it!!
I have a really watery waterline everything disappears within in 30minutes or start smudging to the sides of my eyes, which turns into panda eyes. I found the perfect liquid liner for my lids (stila) but I haven't found the one for my water liner. I have tried makeup forever Aqua liner, Nars, Bobbi brown gel liner, tarte Amazonian clay liner, urban decay 24 hours glide pencil, sephora eye liner, Laura mercie cake liner, and Marc Jacobs gel crayon. None of them stayed on my waterline for very long. Only thing lasted was Nars long wear liner for 4 hours and then it would fade in the corners of my eyes or smudge out. I'm looking for anything that would last long on my waterline. I work 10 hours so I don't have a lot of time for touch ups.
I'm planning on wearing false eyelashes soon and I need to get a good eyeliner for it. What would you recommend? It would probably have to be black or dark brown of course. I'm honestly not sure if I should get liquid, crayon, gel or etc. What do you guys feel looks nicer? One issue that I've had before is m eyeliner not lasting on my waterline for the day so if it could also be long wearing that be would great. Thanks in advance!
I want to create a MUFE 3-pan palette of matte shades that are in the taupe family. I want them to be grouped so that I have all the shades needed for lid/crease/highlight. I was thinking I want M620 Grey Brown as my darkest shade. What should my other two be? I was looking at M536 Milk Tea, M548 Pink Grey, and M558 Dark Taupe, but I am not sure what works together. I will be swatching in store (presumably at the Rouge event in November, since it will be a trip for me to get to one with all the MUFE shadows) but I wanted to get some expert input here as well! EDIT: Now that I'm finding swatches online, I think Milk Tea is too warm. I want cool tones, obviously. This is why I need help!!! http://www.sephora.com/artist-shadow-P387670?skuId =1623412
i am looking for a very quick eyeshadow or pencil. I'm not a morning person at all. I'm a substitute teacher who has to get ready fast. But I've also just started wearing glasses all day, so I do want to pop my eyes a bit. Grew up in the 80s and have wistful memories of a one-swipe wider brush shadow... I do also like some of the UD 24/7 shadow pencil shades as an easy go to, but some also seem way too intense for an overall swipe. Any suggestions on a color or formula or easy look? Thanks!
I was wondering what the best natural looking eye shadow palette to purchase. There's a fair amount to choose from and I honestly don't know which one would be the best to choose. I'm looking for something that has your highlight colours, browns, black, nudes. I kind of like the Naked2 palette by Urban Decay, Full Exposure palette by Smashbox and Natural Eye Neutral Eye Shadow Collection by Too Faced. Would you guys recommend any of these palettes?
Hi! I'm just trying to decide whether or not I really need this. I don't care whether its travel friendly or not. Heres a list of all the palettes I have. UD Naked 1 UD Naked 2 UD Naked 3 UD Electric Pressed Pigment Palette Smashbox Master Class Palette III – Color & Contour Kat von D Chrysalis Eyeshadow Palette Kat von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Saint The Balm - Nude ‘tude This is literally every single eyeshadow palette I have, so not that many. Do I need Naked2 basics?
I've used Dior Show eyelash primer/maximizer for years. The Dior SA at my department store told me to use it at night also to condition the lashes. I usually use vaseline or a drop or two of argan oil. I'm wondering if using the lash maximizer at night actually works or is this just sales bunk to get me to go through my $27 tube faster, ha!
Fellow BTs, I need some help finding a good eyeshadow primer/base. I'm looking for something that will give me true color from my shadows. I have these lovely high pigmented shadows but they just fizzle when I put them on. I've tried UD primer potion but it was too drying for my eyes. I'm looking for something sans phthalates and parabens. Maybe something that can help color correct too. I've got a little bit of discoloration along my lash line.
Hi! So I've been through four our five containers of my Bobbi Brown Corrector in Peach. I feel like I go through it really quickly and it becomes quite expensive for $25 a container. I was looking for another alternative. Any suggestions? http://www.sephora.com/corrector-P270555?skuId=131 7759&om_mmc=ppc-GG&mkwid=4maTzt2b&pcrid=4911316287 ...
So I recently purchased Urban Decays Electric palette. The colors are so gorgeous and oh so pigmented! I've been playing a lot with it and end up looking pretty comical at times with some of the rainbow looks I've come up with. I can't seem to accept wearing less than four shades at a time! Lol! Has anyone got any pictures of multiple color looks that aren't too over the top? Or do I have to accept using two or three shades?
hi has anyone used these? i tried a couple in the store (under eye and top lid, not waterline) and my eyes got irritated. Not sure if it was from the glitter or just removing it to change colors. Opinions?
I have a MAC gift card and I am familiar with their eyeshadows but I am not sure which ones to buy because I want eyeshadow combos that would look good with brighter red hair and hazel eyes. Thanks for any suggestions.
