Hi everyone! I am looking to find an under eye setting powder (as well as an overall setting powder to set my foundation). I have fairly oily/combo skin and Im pretty fair too! I have dark under eyes and use the Tarte color corrector and then apply my NARS concealer. I accidently bought the Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder instead of the translucent one and I've used this to try to set my under eye and it looks horrible! Any recommendations on an under eye setting powder as well as an overall setting powder?
Hi! I've been using the same color eye shadows (dark olive, brownish) for a few years now and want to switch it up. I have blue eyes and a light complexion. I have a hard time finding the right color for me. What do you recommend? Also, I am looking for an everyday mascara with volume and length, but not clumpy. Thank you in advance!
I'm doing some research on tarte's amazonian clay gel pot eyeliner and was happy to see that it's marketed as vegan. However, the last ingredient in the black liner (more on that in a sec) is carmine! Carmine is a red coloring made from the cochineal beetle, so if this is an ingredient in it, then it's technically not vegan. Also, side note, carmine is used for reds, blues, and purples mainly, yet those colors don't list carmine---is this a labeling mix up? Not sure why it would appear in black, but not the more obvious color choices.
Hi everyone! So I am horrible at eyebrows and I am confused on what products I should buy and what techniques will most successfully help me tackle my eyebrow makeup. I want polished eyebrows but I don't want them to be the main focus of my face. Any ideas? thank you!
Hi all, bought my first Sephora eyeliner whilst on holiday in Spain (I'm from the UK) and it instantly became my favourite - the Classic Line. So sleek, dark and easy to put on! However sadly when I went to my bag yesterday the lid/cap had come off during the day and the tips been completely dried out. It won't work at all and I've only had it just over a week, so gutted. Are there any tips on how I can fix a dried out tip?
I've been using Lancome Hypnose Drama WP but I see it's no longer sold (at least in Canada)...I've read through some other postings but a lot of people are looking for waterproof for every day or to avoid smudging in general. I really want to swim and have my mascara stay on...is this possible?! Any suggestions very welcome!! Thanks
Hi! I'm a long time user of UD's Naked Palette and I love it. Since they've incrementally raised their price again it got me thinking if I should try a new palette or stick with this one. Just wondering what other palettes you like and if you think any are better than UD. Naked still seems to have the best overall color selection for me and the price isn't *that* much higher than other palettes, but I figured I'd see what else is out there that might be good to try! Thanks! Joanne
I prefer the BRUSH tips and not the FELT tips. I would love some suggestions. I use to use wet and wild liquid eyeliner but they recently changed their brush tip to a felt tip and I'm heartbroken! Please give me suggestions.
Are there any palettes similar to this one? I have the Naked 2 palette and have green eyes, fair skin with undertones (I'm half Asian but I'm not sure if I'm warm or cool?). I'm looking for a palette with colours similar to this to create more looks, but I can't find anything! Purples, copper/red/siennas, nice olive greens, and perhaps peaches? Thank you! <3
Hi all! I'm a lovely Canadian lady who would really love to get my hands on the new Lorac Mega Pro 3. But it's not available in Canada and I cannot order it from Ulta. Would an amazing American beauty addict be willing to pick one up for me? Of course, I pay the palette and shipping to my (apparently) very distant country! TIA!
I have been using Lancome 'Effacernes' Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer in Clair II for over 20 years and found out it has been discontinued. Has anyone found something that is similar? Lancôme offered some alternatives that were way too light.
Hi guys, I am doing my own makeup for my wedding and need some advice on what eyeshadow palette to purchase. Ideally, I would like to be able to use it on a daily basis as well. It sounds like a good idea to have a good selection of mattes and possibly some shimmer shades as well. I'm debating between Too Faced, Kat Von D, and Lorac. I'm looking for the best option in terms of colour choice, blend-ability, and minimal fallout. I have hazel eyes that are partially hooded, fair- medium, warm-toned skin, medium brown hair. Thanks in advance!!
What's the difference exactly? I think I've been using the cream liner but as much as I love love loooove it at first, it dries up SO FAST! I've tried Urban Decay Super Saturated Cream Eyeliner and the It Cosmetics Liner Love. Both dried up on me with at least 1/2 the pot still full Any product suggestions for me?
Hi everyone! So I reallly want to buy a new waterproof mascara but I just can't decide on one. I want the mascara to be not clumpy, lengthening and volumising. Tell me what works for you. Thank you all in advance
I'm working on improving my eye makeup, and I think it's time to invest in some good brushes. However, I have no idea where to begin. I don't do a ton of makeup: eye shadow, bottom eyeliner, and mascara. Right now I'm using some generic shade, blend, smudge, and crease brushes, but I want to start building my collection with some quality products that will last. Are purchasing the individual $20-ish brushes worth it? Or is it more economical to buy a set? I'm okay with purchasing the more expensive ones if they are truly of good quality and will last me for a decently long time. Also, what brushes are essential for a good eye makeup collection? Thank you everyone!
