Hey everyone! Deciding wether to splurge on Vice 3 (which I really do love all of the colors) or a custom Inglot palette. I'd heard Vice 3 wasn't as good but I'd really like to hear what everyone here thinks. Thanks
So, I'm really liking rosy gold/brown right now and have been eyeing that palette ever since it came out. But everyone seemed to have issues with the quality, especially with Dust which I thought was gorgeous. I keep hoping that it was just an issue with the first palettes released, but I don't live close enough to a Sephora to play with a more recently created palette. Does anyone know if the quality increased?

Has anyone used eyeshadow shields? They seem to be great as stencils for cat eyes (it's so difficult to get them perfect). I was just wondering if it's worth the buy or if any of you lovely ladies have any DIY techniques that are similar to these eyeshadow shields.
I've always been curious about these and since they are having their F&F I am wondering if I should take the plunge and order some. Does anyone have any experience with these or own any? Please let me know. Thanks everybody =)
Naked on the Run launched at 1:00 am PST this morning, and I'm wondering who else snagged it! I did, mostly just because it looks portable and I have all of the other Naked's, so I needed to round out the collection. I also picked up a few of the liquid liners in the sale section, they're $10!
Hiya! I'm trying to find a good undereye concealer/brightener for my beautiful mom who is in her late 60s. She has sensitive eyes so it needs to be gentle and also super crease resistant because her years of love and wisdom have created lots of folds and creases around the eye, esp the "bag" area. She will not use a primer - one extra step. It would be great if it covered dark-ish circles and really brightened the whole eye, so nothing matte or cakey. thanks!!
I have a problem, so I used Too Faced "Shadow Insurance" eyeshadow primer, and I have been using it since June, but I have been to scared to buy a new primer but I am getting annoyed because, it will crease my eye makeup, it wont stay on for longer than 30 minutes, I need advice on a new eye primer! Help please!
Sorry for the double post but I didn't know how to change it, so I was wondering if anyone bought it if they would be willing to share swatches and what your thoughts about it are, since the first one was so disappointing thanks!! valerie
Hello ladies & gents! I just recently got glasses again from having worn contacts for a few years. I am still getting used to wearing them and wanted ideas for eye makeup! I have a light medium complexion and green eyes. I am in love with my new Kate Spade Regine Tortoise Shell frames but got a little sad that my eyes won't be seen as clearly as when I wore contacts. HELP!

Hi All, I have hooded/partial eyelids & was wondering if anyone can give some tips on how to apply eyeshadow without it smearing onto my eyeliner or vice versa? Every time I apply gold eyeshadow and black eyeliner my eyeshadow would stick onto my eyeliner, making it look like i'm not wearing eye liner.. my entire lid would just become gold.. I wear primer for my eyeshadow.. nothing seems to help because my eyelids are hooded, even when i tight line my eyeliner! Any Advice would help! Thank you.
For starters my eyelashes are small thin and hard to work with, even though I'm brunette...you'd think right? We'll no..my lashes suck. But every so often they do look nice if I'm lucky and just opened a brand new package of mascara. So I purchased the glitz and glam set with the falsies, Laura mercier Cavier eyestick, stila magnificent metals eyeshadow, and some other things. Those three items named put together are amazing. I work in a restaurant and the last couple days I've been using falsies and those products...you would think I got plastic surgery because i received a good number of compliments from employees to customers to even other peoples customers just walking by (some of the people also loved other things I put together with this look..pearls, red lips, high bun). So I'm officially in love with falsies but I need tips. They like to lift on the end closer to my tear duct (my eyes are round). Maybe if anyone wants to just tell me the process they use step by step. Or any tips?
I'm not looking for a waterline eyeliner but just a normal eyeliner for my upper lid. I have extremely watery eyes during the winter, so if i'm wearing any eyeliner I find that it'll all smudge down off the side of my eye due to the outer part of my eye being so watery. I've tried waterproof & all & don't find it to work for some reason. I'm in desperate need! Please & Thank you!
Hi lovelies! I am in search of a new nude eyeshadow palette. I've tried both Basics palettes from UD, but they had really terrible pigment fallout, so that's a no go. Do you guys know any good nude palettes that don't have this problem? I kind of have my eye on the Becca nude palette (but don't know if it has fallout). If anybody has this one, please leave some feedback on it Any and all suggestions are appreciated and taken into consideration
This question has been asked a lot but there's too many to read lol but I have used the MAC gel liner, and I never really liked it, I just dealt with it. It would smear on my lids, and it would get dry and clumpy not sure how to explain it. I've also tried several liquid pen eyeliners which i didn't like because it would sometimes become hard to get the liquid on the tip, i would have to push it hard against my lid which would mess up my liner. I've seen a lot of good reviews on Inglot and Motives but not sure where to purchase that brand?? Any gel & liquid suggestions would be appreciated
I was just leisurely lying on the couch, reading In Style and I came across the gift section. I don't know if anyone already posted this but Urban Decay is having the mother of all Naked collection coming out for the holidays! It's an oversized kit (30"X30") of all 3 Nakeds palettes, 3 Naked Flushed alettes, 3 eyeliners (I don't know if they are the double sided ones for the Naked collection though) and 3 Naked Lip Glosses. All for $280 and it comes in a gorgeous case. If you know someone that wants to get the Naked palettes but doesn't know which one too chose and you're in the gift giving mood, this might be it!
Dear All, I wear black liquid eyeliner on my upper lash line most every day, yet after 20 years of practice, still I cannot do it. I'm posing this question because I've used L'Oreal's liquid liner forever, but I recently switched to Stilla, thinking maybe if I paid more, I'd find lining easier. This did not prove to be the case; in short it has been a disaster ... My question is this: Are there any black liquid liners that are easy even for those hopeless at applying makeup? Any product advice would be very welcomed! Thanks in advance!
I have had the Kat Von D Mini True Romance Palette Little Sinner and the regular sized T rue Romance Palette Poetica for a while, and I finally got around to trying them. They were both okay, so I decided that since the colors were similar, that I would try them together. And I must say, they complement each other so well. Neither product is available through Sephora anymore, but it gives me a few ideas of how to use some of my smaller palettes together to create a new palette.
Okay my beauties, I have tons of palettes but I always take just one palette with me for the holidays. Last year it was UD Vice 2, but I want to change it up this year. Any suggestions? I'm willing to buy a new palette. And I'd prefer one that is not made up of neutrals.
