New To Colorful Eyeshadow/Eyeliner.
Hey ladies, I have a few questions I would like to ask your thoughts on regarding eyeshadows / eyeliner as well as lipstick .    Question 1 : I would like to know how I can introduce the idea of adding color into eye looks I create ?. I've always been one who tends to lean more towards neutrals simply because they tend to look so polished and flattering on me. However I have felt lately I would like to experiment with color and see so much that inspires that drive to want to try my hand at color. However I feel slightly intimidated by wearing color for fear of messing it up. I find it a bit overwhelming really on how to pair colors up so that a look will blend nicely. Is there a place I can go that can give lots of color combinations or ideas on looks that may be of interest to me ?. I do frequent Youtube a lot and so that is always a great place to check out as well.    Question 2 : In regards to different techniques of application. I've always done my eyeshadow the traditional method lid, crease, brownbone. I wanted to play with different application techniques of eyeshadow. Is there a site that has pictures that explain different ways of applying eye makeup ?.    Question 3 : Eyeliner is one aspect of eye makeup I enjoy as it brings the looks I wear together. I use the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner and it works wonderfully on my upper lash line however anything I put on my waterline is a complete fail. I tend to have VERY sensitive eyes that water a lot especially in the winter. Nothing I ever tried has stayed on my waterline and I feel disappointed because it's aspect of eye makeup I want to master. So if you know some secret tips that are able to make it stay put that would be great.    Another question is pairing colored eyeliner with eye looks, what colors go best with what looks ?. I've seen a fair share of great colorful liners but not sure what pairs well with them.    Question 4 :  This is about pairing lipsticks with eye looks that will make the look come together well. I have A LOT of lipsticks in an array of colors and I want to know how to pair them with both Colorful and Neutral looks.

Best Dry mascara
I hope you can help me! I am currently looking into getting a new mascara. I have been using Helena Rubenstein Lash Queen Waterproof Black for a while, but I wanna change it. I have thin, short and fine lashes, so looking for a formula that won't weigh down my lashes, which is my main problem with all mascaras. I prefer it to be waterproof as I work out a lot. I really want lots of volume and lenght. I really hope you can suggest some suitable mascaras for me.

Perfect winged eyeliner tool?
I've been trying to get the perfect winged eyeliner but I can rarely get a perfect line and when I do it's never the same as the other eye. Is there some sort of tool that can help me with the line? I know shadow shields help along with eyeshadow but I have no idea where to buy those. I also heard that Sephora had some sort of eyeliner applicator thing. I don't know, all I'm really seeking is some sort of tool not really a technique. Any ideas?

Best holiday eyeshadow palette of 2014
What is your favorite holiday eyeshadow palette of 2014?   So far I've purchased Kat von D star studded palette, HK palette, Vice 3 palette, and Lorac Mega pro. Should I look into anything else? I have the TF Sugar & Spice palette and the UD shadow box sitting in my cart.

Hooked on Neutral Palettes
Hi! First post. I am totally addicted to neutral eyeshadow palettes and need a little help. What are your fav non-neutral palettes. I have several (sigh, FOUR) of the NAKED palettes and another neutral Tarte palette (and I'm forgetting a few others) and really want to add some color to my collection. I love so many and just can't make a decision.

I'm Easily Enabled (hangs head in shame)
Just yesterday, I marveled at how well I'd been doing NOT buying things I don't need... Than Chanel came out with the LE Holiday Quad. I resisted for about 16 hours, and today, a friend told me she got it this weekend, and that was all it took; It's on it's way to me. SMH. Anything lately enable you this easily?    (isn't it pretty?!?!)

Q. Best lash primer?
The last couple of lash primers I tried (which, to be fair, was a while ago) were really disappointing---causing a lot of flaking & clumping.  That said, I'd really like to find a great one that does a good job of conditioning & protecting my lashes.  From what I hear it seems like DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum and Givenchy's Mister Lash are probably the best two, but was hoping for some feedback on which is better.   Update:  Based on the advice you guys gave me I got the Dior, and it is amazing!

Looking for best liner for waterline.
I have a really watery waterline everything disappears within in 30minutes or start smudging to the sides of my eyes, which turns into panda eyes. I found the perfect liquid liner for my lids (stila) but I haven't found the one for my water liner. I have tried makeup forever Aqua liner, Nars, Bobbi brown gel liner, tarte Amazonian clay liner, urban decay 24 hours glide pencil, sephora eye liner, Laura mercie cake liner, and Marc Jacobs gel crayon. None of them stayed on my waterline for very long. Only thing lasted was Nars long wear liner for 4 hours and then it would fade in the corners of my eyes or smudge out. I'm looking for anything that would last long on my waterline. I work 10 hours so I don't have a lot of time for touch ups.

Best eyeliner to get to wear with false eyelashes?
I'm planning on wearing false eyelashes soon and I need to get a good eyeliner for it. What would you recommend? It would probably have to be black or dark brown of course. I'm honestly not sure if I should get liquid, crayon, gel or etc. What do you guys feel looks nicer? One issue that I've had before is m eyeliner not lasting on my waterline for the day so if it could also be long wearing that be would great. Thanks in advance!

MUFE Matte "Shadow Family"
I want to create a MUFE 3-pan palette of matte shades that are in the taupe family.  I want them to be grouped so that I have all the shades needed for lid/crease/highlight.  I was thinking I want M620 Grey Brown as my darkest shade.  What should my other two be?  I was looking at M536 Milk Tea, M548 Pink Grey, and M558 Dark Taupe, but I am not sure what works together.  I will be swatching in store (presumably at the Rouge event in November, since it will be a trip for me to get to one with all the MUFE shadows) but I wanted to get some expert input here as well!   EDIT:  Now that I'm finding swatches online, I think Milk Tea is too warm.  I want cool tones, obviously.  This is why I need help!!! http://www.sephora.com/artist-shadow-P387670?skuId =1623412

Help with quick look
i am looking for a very quick eyeshadow or pencil. I'm not a morning person at all. I'm a substitute teacher who has to get ready fast. But I've also just started wearing glasses all day, so I do want to pop my eyes a bit. Grew up in the 80s and have wistful memories of a one-swipe wider brush shadow...   I do also like some of the UD 24/7 shadow pencil shades as an easy go to, but some also seem way too intense for an overall swipe. Any suggestions on a color or formula or easy look?   Thanks!

Best natural looking eyes hadow palette to get?
I was wondering what the best natural looking eye shadow palette to purchase. There's a fair amount to choose from and I honestly don't know which one would be the best to choose. I'm looking for something that has your highlight colours, browns, black, nudes. I kind of like the Naked2 palette by Urban Decay, Full Exposure palette by Smashbox and Natural Eye Neutral Eye Shadow Collection by Too Faced. Would you guys recommend any of these palettes?

Eyelash primer at night? Anyone every heard of this or use that way?
I've used Dior Show eyelash primer/maximizer for years. The Dior SA at my department store told me to use it at night also to condition the lashes. I usually use vaseline or a drop or two of argan oil. I'm wondering if using the lash maximizer at night actually works or is this just sales bunk to get me to go through my $27 tube faster, ha!

Eyeshadow primer/base. What to use?
Fellow BTs,   I need some help finding a good eyeshadow primer/base. I'm looking for something that will give me true color from my shadows. I have these lovely high pigmented shadows but they just fizzle when I put them on. I've tried UD primer potion but it was too drying for my eyes. I'm looking for something sans phthalates and parabens. Maybe something that can help color correct too. I've got a little bit of discoloration along my lash line.

Has anyone got any subtle looks out of the electric palette?
So I recently purchased Urban Decays Electric palette. The colors are so gorgeous and oh so pigmented! I've been playing a lot with it and end up looking pretty comical at times with some of the rainbow looks I've come up with.  I can't seem to accept wearing less than four shades at a time! Lol! Has anyone got any pictures of multiple color looks that aren't too over the top? Or do I have to accept using two or three shades?
