Hi all, I have a moderate tremor in both hands and it makes the more precise aspects of makeup application difficult. Specifically I have trouble with eyeliner and mascara. I can't get a straight line with the eyeliner and I keep stabbing myself in the eye or getting wicked smudges with the mascara. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to apply eye makeup with shaky hands? Thanks to anyone who has thoughts!

I haven't worn much waterproof make up before and don't have make up remover (just soap and water). Usually I use Buxom's insider liner in onyx (and several other colors), and I'm about to run out and was thinking of trying the new hold the line but... how would you get it off?? I've heard a couple things to get waterproof eyeliner off, olive oil, lotion or make up remover on a q tip, but is that really ok to get in your eyes? Is it bad to not use remover to get it out? (Like leave it or reapply?) I'd imagine it would be but would love to hear an explanation...

Can someone please tell me how to use a cream eye eyeliner? I recieved the Smash box trio cream eye liner sample. It's too thick and dry to use straight out of the jar. I have dipped my brush in water prior to usage and all it did was give a FAINT light bit of color, kind of like a water color set. I love natural stuff, and neutral makeup products. I don't even know why. So i was just relaxing and fooling around with my makeup when i randomly thought, "What's the point of wearing neutral eyeshadows when it doesn't look like you're wearing anything?" and it really bothered me to not know. I guess what I'm asking is why do people wear neutral eyeshadows and stuff? Especially when most are shimmery and it's obvious you put eyeshadow on that is practically the same color of your skin... This must sound really weird, especially coming from me because probably half my posts are about "natural looking makeup", "neutral eyeshadows", "natural eye palettes", etc hahaa.

There is a product by essence called I Love Stage, it's under 4 dollars at Ulta. It's a pretty great primer. For more upscale brands I really like the Tarte primer.

ok i just gotta ask...is glitter makeup (glitter eyeliner on lid of eyes) out of style/outdated?? Like no longer in fashion or trend? i ask because yesterday i went to a shoot and the MUA there while taking off my makeup so she can do my makeup for the photoshoot said "oh you have/put glitter eyeliner/shadow?" and i said ya! and i asked why, is glitter like so 80's etc..not "in" anymore and she said yea, it's kind o tacky or whatever! um but it's weird, cuz when i do wear my sephora silver glitter eyeliner right on top of my eyeliner on my eyelids, i get compliments everywhere i go!! (from females of course); like even at the drive-thru windows, at the mall, etc...women just say how pretty the glitter is or that they like my glitter eyes! but after hearing that MUA say that to me..idk; i like my eyes when i put glitter on them

A. If you are working in a professional setting, then, no, glitter liner would be too frivolous and you could be hindered in being taken seriously, and promotions affected....

I am going to France in a few months, and I would love to have a pretty large eyeshadow palette to take with me. My favorite shadows are urban decay, and I'm planning on taking my naked 2, but they don't have a larger palette than that or a build your own larger than 4. I would preferably like something at least 15 shades please I really really like my shadows to be very pigmented, like UD ones. Thank you so much!

I use it for both honestly, on occasion I will put a highlighter or illuminizer on top if it's under my eyes, but I haven't had an issue with settling or caking over eye...

so i've finallly decided to buy a nice liquid liner. it dosen't need to be waterproof, but if it is, that's a not a dealbreaker (30 rock anyone?), since my liner never lasts with pencil, and gel takes to long to apply ( i 'm impaient) however, i know liquid liner will be easier than gel as i'm expeirienced with liquid liner. anyway, so what do you girls ( and guys, mokeys, elephants, and platypus) reccomend i buy?

I second crayzeeRN's suggestion of the Urban Decay. I used a shadow from the Ammo Palette as an eyeliner the other day and it lasted all day. :)

I was doing my makeup yesterday, and reached for my MAC A Dashing Lassie Eyeshadow Palette from last year's Christmas collection to use the champagne shade, Once Upon A Time, as my inner corner highlight. It has (had?) a huge dent in it and I've been working on it for my Project 10 Pan for a while now - my only goal was to hit pan. Well, after I tapped my brush in it, it had used enough product for me to finally hit pan! I am so excited!!! This is the first time I have ever hit pan on any eyeshadow/blush/powder product! I think I've had this palette for a year and a half or so. My excitement over this is probably way too much for most of you. Sorry! Have you ever hit pan?
