Sorry, I know there are like a million of these out there and I have read a lot of them but i'm sort of overwhelmed now! Basically, i'm out of the loop now, I haven't been on Sephora in months now but it's winter again finally and my skin is back to being dry! Thankfully it isn't stubbornly dry, i'm just looking for a good cream. It doesn't need to specifically be a night cream (i'll just be using it at night), no gels, not Clinique, and preferably not in a jar but i'm not being picky! A few options i'm considering: - DE La La Retro - Kate Somerville Goats Milk - Sunday Riley Tidal (yes I realize it's kind of jelly, but I'm curious!) - Josie Maran Whipped Argan All recommendations are welcomed!! Thanks in advance
I have very very dry and flakey skin. I just recieved a great exfoliant from Lush, but I am now looking for other good products to help maintain the moisture. Moisturizer, foundation, etc. Any tips would be awesome, I love to hear other perspectives on dry skin.
I have pretty normal skin some acne around my jawline and maybe a little on the dry side but it has never gotten to wear it has been flaky until about 4 days ago. I have tried everything from my clarisonic which I use almost every day even before my nose and chin started getting flaky so I don't think it could be causing it. I also before applying my makeup use a neutrogena sunscreen primer then on top of that I use the laura mercier hydrating primer. Then at night I wash my face with cetaphil normal face wash then use the cetaphil face and body lotion. It still doesn't help and I still end up waking up with flaky skin. What can I do to get rid of it and make my skin look not flaky like it used to be?
Not to be overdramatic but I take very good care of my skin and the skin around my eyes is SO dry. When I put on my eye cream (amore pacific http://www.sephora.com/moisture-bound-rejuvenating -eye-treatment-gel-P282612?skuId=1328038&icid2=lp_ ... ) - the skin under my eyes burns. Its red around the outer corner of my eye. It almost looks as though its peeling. It feels a little tight too. I was also trying murad's eye firming treatment http://www.sephora.com/eye-lift-firming-treatment- P404007?skuId=1775378&icid2=products%20grid 404007 I've also tried caudalie's http://www.sephora.com/premier-cru-the-eye-cream-P 280104?skuId=1500842&icid2=products%20grid 280104 It hasn't made a dent in the dryness. I'm freaking out, I need a deeply moisturizing product for winter. Please make any recommendations . I have annoyingly oily skin everywhere else. I have sebaceous filaments as well. For those who are medically oriented: I have eczema. Not trying to be dramatic but I spend so much money on skincare and I can't believe this is happening to me despite all this effort. Thanks very much in advance.
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Let me first start off with the products I use and the routine: AM -cleanser -Tidal for the face -Fresh black tea under the eyes PM -cleanser -Korres Rose Oil for the face -Fresh black tea under the eyes Now my chin area gets dry sometimes and en employee recommended PTR Mega Rich face cream but I think it is too rich for me. My sister recently gave me a sample of Josie Maran's Argan oil and I used it on top of my Tidal and my face feels a lot more hydrated. So my question is should I add an oil to the morning routine?
Hi All, In the past year or so my skin has become very dry. I used to have combination skin but no dryness that really affected me. Now I have dry/flaking skin under my eyes that show when I put makeup on, and dry skin on and around my lips that makes it hard to wear lip products. I have tried many different "hydrating" skin products but the problem seems to persist. The other day I went to the store and was given a sample of Philosophy Clear Days Ahead cleanser and some other products. I used a new beauty blender around my eyes the same day (I am convinced that the dye in the beauty blender may be a part of this problem and will be getting the pure one) and woke up today with swollen eyes, round skin around my eyes, redness, painful dry feeling and flaking skin. I really desperately need recommendations for a cleanser to use to get rid of this problem! Thank you!
So, I suffer from dry skin. I have recently upped my moisturizing routine and still when i put foundation on, it doesn't go on well and my skin looks cakey. I do suffer from some redness and have sensitive skin as well. I feel my skin looks awful without makeup and i feel like it looks awful with it on as well. I also feel like the makeup just kinda spreads around my face and doesn't set in well. I have used just about every pricey foundation, primer, moisturizer, etc. Help?
So I recently purchased the Josie Maran Argan Oil but I am a little confused...is this stuff supposed to be primer or do you use it at night before you go to sleep? I've read both under the reviews. Just wondering cause right now I'm using the GlamGlow Illuminating Moisturizer for my primer.
I'm 45 and I have terrible skin problems. It's like ground hog day for me it seems. I have extremely dry skin and break out on my chin and around my mouth constantly but then my skin is extremely dry on my nose and chin as well. I've tried everything and if cleansers are harsh they dry out my skin even more . I'm under a lot of stress and I know that attributes to break outs, drink about 2 sodas a day and not enough water but I've always had extremely dry skin. I know my hormonal issues can cause break outs as well. I'm not premenopausal yet but m breakouts tend to be deep cyst like spots. I'm currently using a gentle cleanser with the the clarisonic brush. I also use Bobbi Brown moisturizer, serum and the tinted balm to help with hydration. Yet still break out and my skin still peels. help me....thanks
Hi everyone! I really need a good cleanser and moisturizer for my dry/acne prone/sensitive skin. My skin gets very dry/red especially in the fall/winter. Also gets irritated easily which then leads to a break out. I'm currently using a cetaphil cleanser and Cerave moisturizer and although they are not bothering my skin they are not helping with hydration either. I have tried a few lines so I will list below things that have not worked. FRESH line Kate Somerville Dr.Jart the grass moisturizer Clinique moisture surge intense Ole Henrickson nurture me moisturizer
I have pretty dry skin, especially in winter, and it's the only cleanser I've been able to use for years. It is an absolutely lovely cleanser, but now that it's discontinued, I'm not sure what to purchase next. I really don't want to spend $30 on a cleanser, only to have it dry out my skin (or make it ridiculously oily). I don't like the melting cleaners, or the cream-based cleansers. I can't believe BM discontinued a perfect facial cleanser. Any suggestions?
I have very dry skin (aside from my nose bridge, which is oily.) and live in a humid climate. I've got the Lock It concealer, but have been debating on whether to get the Lock It foundation or the Born This Way foundation. Can anyone help me decide?
I don't know what this is, but I just have dry, flaky skin just at the creases of my nose that are particularly visible when I wear makeup (mineral or liquid) and I don't know how to get rid of it. I've tried good moisturizers, but it doesn't seem to work and it's very isolated to just the nose crease. I do have dry skin in general, but a good moisturizer usually takes care of any dryness EXCEPT here. It's not so much "patches" of skin, it looks maybe more like pores that have flaked off or something. It's hard to describe. Maybe I will take a picture. Does anybody know what the heck I'm talking about? lol If so, what skin regiment would you recommend?
Can someone recommend me skincare brands that suits Dry Skin I'd really appreciate it also if any of you can recommend me a good face wash/toner/ serum/ eye cream/moisturizer for dry skin/ really dry especially in the Fall and Winter times and my makeup would not stay long and become flaky dry..
Hi, which one is better for super dry, sensitive skin. Yes, I always always always put Sunday Riley oil under my moisturizer but just want to find the most hydrating face cream. I have tried FAB Ultra Repair before 1. Dr. Jart+ Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Cream 2. FAB Ultra Repair 3. Clinique Moisture Surge 4. Others? Thank you
I have found nice products for my dry skin problem i believe they are helping but im currently breaking out on my chin daily? I keep using the products but every day i have a new one. they are the painful kind under the skin. do I need to change what I am using or do i need to add a acne treatment? I dont want to get dry again tho.
Hello, I am 23 and I have developed fine lines under my eyes due to my contact dermatitis (eye eczema) and I want to know the best way to keep eyes hydrated and make up staying without creasing. Does anyone have any tips/tricks to prevent under eyes from creasing ... My under eye area is very dry at times and I would like to know if anyone has tried a really great moisturizer for under eye and a good foundation/concealer for the under eye area?
Hey fellow BTers, I've been struggling with dehydrated skin for awhile and its only been getting worse as the weather cools down I went into Sephora today to find a cleanser that doesn't contain sulphates and is moisturizing, in hopes to combat that. an SA recommended trying a cleansing oil in the morning instead of using a cleansing foam, so I wanted to ask if there is anyone who does this for the longest time, I've been using cleansing oils only to remove my makeup (and then double cleansing with a foam cleanser), so the idea was rather frightening in a sense.. has anyone tried this? or do you recommend any other product for my type of concern?
I have dry skin underneath my nose just above my lips and also on the sides of my nose, sometimes it is flaky and sometimes it's bright red and inflamed. Does anyone have any suggestions. I would really appreciate your help!!x
I have a very dry, sensitive and acne prone skin. I'm taking medicine right now that really dry out my skin. This is my current regime : - Murad 1.5% Acne Cleanser - Lancome Tonique Douceor Toner - SK-II Treatment Essence - Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion - Sunday Riley Artemis Facial Oil - First Aid Beauty Ultra Cream Repair - Elta MD Sunscreen (AM only) I don't know what should I add on my skin to moisturize it because dry skin makes my skin loooks ugly on makeup. Thinking of adding overnight moisturizing mask and eye cream. Or maybe change to a more moisturizing cream for skin. I'm sensitive to fragrance, making me to avoid most of Korean skincare that have bunch of fragrance in it It is so painful till I almost avoid to put water on my skin because it is sooooo painful! My undereye is so red and really dry. I'm so sad with my current skin right now . Thanks for the help
