dry flaky areas on nose creases??
I don't know what this is, but I just have dry, flaky skin just at the creases of my nose that are particularly visible when I wear makeup (mineral or liquid) and I don't know how to get rid of it. I've tried good moisturizers, but it doesn't seem to work and it's very isolated to just the nose crease. I do have dry skin in general, but a good moisturizer usually takes care of any dryness EXCEPT here. It's not so much "patches" of skin, it looks maybe more like pores that have flaked off or something. It's hard to describe. Maybe I will take a picture. Does anybody know what the heck I'm talking about? lol If so, what skin regiment would you recommend?

Safe face/eye products for 4 year old with dry skin
My daughter has dry skin on her face, and is especially flaky around the corner of her eye and on her lid. It bothers her, which makes her scratch at it, making it worse. It's not eczema.    I'm looking for something to help with her dry skin, and considering she's only 4, safe for her to use. She has sensitive skin, and even more so since it's dry. Drugstore lotions irritate her... even Aveeno and Burt's Bees. And she HATES the feeling of oils.   Also, it needs to "sink in" fairly quickly OR not hurt the eyes, since she rubs her eye area, which could make them sting.   Doesn't have to be something Sephora carries, just need something that'll help! So... any input would be great!

Flaky eye skin
Hello Beauties, it has been forever but I need help and I know you can offer it.   I have super dry skin under my eyebrow down to the lid. The skin is so dry that it flakes off. (The lid does not get flakey but right above it up to the brow gets flaky).   Is there an eye cream you can recommend that will help with that?  I'm currently using algenist complete renewal balm and it helps but does not fix the problem.   Thoughts?

Help! I need to find a foundation for dry skin, with full coverage..
I am 61 with very dry skin.  It is getting better as I have been consistently using some great skincare treatments.  My problem is I want a foundation that covers everything.  At my age, natural is the same as horrible!  Most of them are cakey and have no luminosity to them.  I also have trouble with my skin picking up the yellow undertones in most colors.  Can someone guide me in the right direction?

Favorite moisturizing sheet or gel masks for dehydrated skin?
With the temperature dropping in the East Coast, I've been regularly using sheet masks to combat my increasingly dehydrated skin. Even though my skin is oily year-round, it still gets irritated and flaky from retinoid use so sheet masks have long been a necessary staple of mine. I normally use them at night once a week before applying my retinoid and the instant glow (albeit, short-term) they provide is amazing. Also, for special events when I'm willing to spend more time dolling up, using sheet masks before makeup allows my foundation to look translucent (less cakey, longer wear time).   I listed some of my favorites below but am always on the lookout for more accessible (but affordable) ones in the states. Have you used any of them before?  Please share your favorites!   Favorite Masks   1. Neogence Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Mask ($16.50 for 6 masks) This Taiwanese mask is my favorite out of all the masks I tried - it's super hydrating and does not irritate my skin even on days when it's inflamed from overzealous retinoid application.   2. HadaLabo Gokujyun Paper Mask ($10.20 for 4 sheets) HadaLabo is a Japanese brand that is very well known for it's moisturizing line.    3. My Beauty Diary Aloe Mask ($13.50 for 10 sheets) (Taiwan) My Beauty Diary offers over 40 different kinds of sheet mask and is the most affordable sheet mask I know of that moisturizes. The fact that it's sold in Wal-mart online is a plus as well.   4. Base Formula Aloe Vera & Seaweed Gel ($13.50 for 16.9 oz) (UK based brand) This isn't a sheet mask but I find the effects comparable, if not better, when applied on the skin for 40 minutes or longer. However, I get lazy and don't use this as often as I would like since it requires more time and washing off. (This mask is particularly soothing after a facial)       Masks I have heard good things about but haven't had the chance to try yet:   1. Tony Moly Natural Pulp Essence Sheet Mask - Hyaluronic Acid   2. The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Mask Sheet   3. Innisfree It's Real Green Tea Mask   4. Annie's Way Jelly Mask   P.S. I'm not too picky with clay mask - both drugstore and department store brands work the same for me so I just stick with my Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask.

Moisturizer that works?
This is a hard subject to ask for me! Lol I love Algenist and have a lot invested in the line but am very sad to say that my skin is still dry. I am using three Moisturizers from them including the firming and lifting cream and the gel as well, all at the same time and I'm still dry. I have been using the whole line for four months, is that enough time to know if I should add another brand or not? I am also using their oil and that seems to help a little. I am asking because I am getting frustrated. I keep sticking with this line but not getting the results I was hoping for. Thanks in advance. Does anyone know when Sephora will get their neck cream back? It's new but before I could get it, it was gone! Lol

Treatment Product Safe for Lids
I already have hooded lids that get dry and can clearly see with my mom and grandma that one day, my lids will undoubtedly droop. For preventative measures, I was using a deluxe sample of Perricone's Acyl-Glutathione Eye Lid Serum. I really enjoyed the extra moisture on my lids and the firming effects. However, this stuff is pretty pricy for my current budget. Does anyone have any suggestions of a serum or product that is safe for the lids that is under $100?

Dry, scaly patch on eye lid
Urgh, my skin is so unhappy this winter!  I've noticed that on one of my eyelids, I have a weird patch of dry, scaly skin.  It isn't exactly eczema, since it is not itchy or raised, but I have a feeling it is related.   Last night I exfoliated my lid (warm compress, gentle rinse with baby shampoo dissolved in warm water, rinse, moisturize) and it worked really well, but by this afternoon the dry, scaly feeling is back!   I put my Murad Hydrodynamic Eye Cream on it, since it is safe to use around the eyes, but has anyone else experienced this?  Any tips for dealing with it would be great, since it is super noticeable when I wear eyeshadow!

Skincare advice?
So, I'm having problems finding a balance in skin care and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.. My skin can be pretty sensitive if I use products that are too harsh, so I was using Shiseido Purness toner and facewash, or Cetaphil face wash, and Fresh Seaberry Oil and/or Clinique Dramatically Different moisturizer. My skin has stayed pretty clear the last few months, but it's been getting increasingly dry, despite the fact that it's summer.   It's been making me nervous that it's going to get worse this winter, so I've been trying to find a solution for the dryness. I've been trying Boscia Restorative Night Cream and Ole Henrickson Nurture Me. They've been helping with the dryness (especially the Boscia), but one of them has made my skin start breaking out. I've switched to try CeraVe Moisturizer PM, but no idea if this is going to help..   It seems like my skin is either dry and clear, or hydrated and broken out. Anyone else have this problem or know of a good solution??

I have a myriad of skin issuesone and
I live in a tropical climate with dry, sensitive skin and I have a lot of redness especially around my t-zone and chin. I've been experimenting with different products and I need help figuring out why my makeup never turns out the way I want. Lately I've been using Benefit Porefessional and Clinique Moisture Surge Liquid Foundation (I also use Missha BB Cream) and a Clinque compact and when I use those products (especially when I use the compact) my face looks cakey and I'm not sure how to fix it. Should I avoid powders altogether? I think my skin just can't handle too many layers of makeup but with foundation alone it's not enough to fully cover my redness.   Please help because I am completely lost on what to do.

Regime for sensitive sun damaged skin suggestions.
I am in my mid 30s and have very sensitive, fair skin.  At one  point years ago I got a terrible sunburn and it has left its mark inn my nose and especially my cheeks leaving them bright pink at all times.     My my skin tends to be  on the dry side with beginning fine lines. I do get dark eye circles if I do not use an eye cream.when I stay away from irritants I have no blemishes with the exception of hormone induced ones.  I can not use retinol, it is too harsh and I scab from it.     I have found that that dior products work very well with my skin chemistry.  I do not itch and they have a calming effect.  I am currently using hydra life  with essential one first  ( and mask) but an planing on switching to capture total when I run out now that I am hydrated  I always use sunscreen now! Are there other products that my be better to use or to use along with to help reduce the redness.  I have tried the Clinique redness reducing line and that inflamed my skin within minutes...   what at other masks and/ or peeks would be good to try?

Clay mask for dry skin types?
I have dry combination skin type that is very very acne prone.  I get redness every now and then, but with the right products, I usually don't.. but breakouts are something I tend to not be able to control     I use clarisonic, philosophy and sulwhasoo peels for exfoliating about 2 times a week, but I feel like its not enough to deep clean for pores especially in the summer.    I have in the past used Fresh umbrian clay and PTR sulfur mask from what I can remember on top of my head.  I loved the umbrian clay mask, but found it to be very dehydrating.. PTR sulfur mask on the other hand barely did anything..  oh and Glam glow was way too irritating for my skin..    can anyone please recommend a good clay mask that I can use for the purpose of drawing out impurities and keeping my skin a bit more clear?    thank you in advance!
