Hey Beauty Expert,
I was wondering if you knew of a serum/moisturizer/etc. (not quite sure what product would help target this issue) that can help repair my skin. On my face I have bumps and lines. I am only 23 years old, so I am assuming that such damage has been caused by the days spent out in the sun. Are there any products that can repair my skin and give it a more youthful look to it?
Thank you!

If you have sensitive skin and really don't know what is causing it, I would probably go to the Dermatologist about it. I recently had to do it and my skin is feeling a lot better than what it was. They will be more than willing in order to help you out. If you like certain products, bring the ingredients list with you and they would be more than willing to check it out,

What type of bumps; can you describe them? If they are the type that never seem to go away, you will probably need to visit a dermatologist to determine what they are and if they need to be removed. Especially if they are deep and under the skin. While there, be honest and as about the wrinkles and have them discuss the advantages and disadvantages of formulas, products and methods. Ask if there are certain ingredients they recommend to try or stay away from when looking at skincare.
The lines from sun damage while they will not fully go away, a repair serum may help reduce the appearance. I fell in love with a sample of the Guerlain Abeille Royale Youth Serum. I consider myself fairly young but it does a really good job at making my forehead lines less noticeable. With serums, there is always a chance of it to cause a reaction, so sample when possible. I also give caution cause this brand isn't necessarily labeled for sensitive skin types either.
However if you are looking for something more on budget, the Ole Henriksen Truth serum may be worth checking out. It gives brightness and will not sit or dry out the skin as an addition to your current skin routine. This product tends to be in skincare kits as well
As for moisturizer, the key is find one that will keep skin well hydrated throughout the day. Trial and Error (sampling) is the best way to find out which works best for your skin. Anti-aging ones might be too much of an overload for 23 (more expensive, results are not as noticeable on younger skin). Serums tend to be better at targeting concerns and issues for wrinkles, dark spots, etc.
Other brands that tend to accommodate better for sensitive skin: Caudalie, Boscia, REN, Skyn Iceland (love their cleansers especially), Ole Henriksen. And from the information given, you may enjoy trying Caudalie products. REN makes great masks for sensitive skin.
A light creamy concealer to blend in certain areas is an optional idea to help minimize the appearance.
In addition, keep hydrated, balance good skin foods, minimize stress when possible, and be adamant about SPF usage.
Hope this helps.

I would suggest looking into serums, moisturizers, and peels.
I just turned 25 and I have a single deep line on my forehead that I swear is from my 2 years I decided to lay in a tanning bed, plus developing a small spot of discoloration. I know with sensitive skin what works for one may not work for another, but I really like Philosophy products. Every morning I use Philosophy Micodelivery Exfoliating Wash, Bliss Detoxifying Toner, and moisturize with a combo of Philosophy Hope In A Jar, Philosophy Booster C, and Josie Maran Argan Oil. I use Philosophy Eye Hope around my eyes, a lip balm by Josie Maran, and Neutrogena Ageless Deep Wrinkle Filler on my forehead wrinkle. Throughout the day I use Peter Thomas Roth Mineral Powder SPF 45 to help reduce further sun damage. At night I remove eyemakeup with Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads, Philosophy Purity Made Simple, and Bliss Steep Clean Toner Pads. I treat aging issues with Philosophy Help Me and Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough serum. I use Hope In A Tube around my eyes and lips and on my forehead wrinkle and moisturize with Philosophy Hope In a Jar for Dry, Sensitive Skin. If I have blemishes I treat them with Bare Escentuals Blemish Therapy. I have other products I add from time to time (like Philosophy Microdelivery Peel, Ole Henrikson Truth Serum, and lots of Bosia products) but thats my normal daily routine and it never irritates my skin and meets all my needs.
I am looking into fillers that help the body make what it need to smooth out lines. I don't know much about them yet, but unlike botox that paralizes your muscles, these fillers actually use (usually an animal version of) what your body should be producing naturally and helps your body produce it more regularly so you do not need to keep going back and getting "filled." Although I feel this is extreme and it may be controversial, I don't want to look like an old woman in 10 years, because I won't be!!! It may be something you want look into if you have lines at 23.
